I'm looking for a thread and the EVEForums search function is fail.
I remember reading about someone who was doing Lvl 4s in an Ishkur. Albeit, it wasnt as effective as other ships, but it sounds fun. I wanted to re-read that.
Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about?

Fit ishkur, and try it. Allthough lvl 3s allready take long in an ishkur.
Oh and dont try it vs missions where they got neuts or webbers + turrets.

Passive shield tank ishtar will do well against guristas/serpentis missions.

you can do it in a ishkur, but you need at least a b-type gistii shield booster.
basically you do blasters, ab, booster, & mission specific hardener.
the rest of the fit is whatever as long your are cap stable with EVERYTHING running
*note*
it takes ages, but is doable if you're on a shoestring budget

I agree, doable but nowhere near optimal. (And you better have good blaster skills to break some of the tanks.) Now what is fun is to fly support to a BS doing missions. Use your drones and small blasters to take out all those pesky frigs so you big buddy can concentrate his fire on those rat battleships where it'll do the most good. Oh and if you get a mission where there aren't many frigs...be the tank...close orbit the larger ships and they're spend all their effort trying (and failing) to hit you while your buddy takes em to pieces.
