I read a topic on them, and understand most of it. however, the stuff i read about them really didnt answer this, as some people said yes, and some people said no. (Just 2 questions) 1. Does it pull a person who is warping out of warp? 2. Is it usable outside of 0.0 space?

Not too sure about your first question, from what i can remember from 0.0, if you are within 150KM whilst warping near a bubble your pulled into it, cancelling your warp. Not to sure sorry. Though i know what you can't use bubbles outside of 0.0 ------------- Descend, bold traveller, and attain the centre of the Earth. |

Edited by: Warrrules on 14/10/2008 21:14:42 Yes. and No. You will be pulled out of warp if you warp through or near a Warp Disruption Bubble from an dictor. No you can only focus on one person (Per WD) in empire.

1. No (but see below) 2. No.
A warp disruption bubble does not pull you out of warp directly, but- BUT (this bit's important, pay attention) if you come out of warp on the same grid as a warp bubble AND your line of flight intersects the bubble, you will arrive on the edge of it. This has the effect of "pulling" or "sucking" you to the edge of the bubble, even if it's past the target you were warping to.
The term for these I've heard is "suck bubble", where it's deployed on the far side of the gate from another gate so that people warping into the gate to get out get pulled 50KM past the gate, well out of jump range, but well within gank range.
However, putting a bubble up at some random point midway between two warpable points will have no effect on people warping through it; they have to be landing on the same grid for the effect to work. Also, if the bubble goes up AFTER the target ship enters warp, it will have no effect on you when landing; the bubble must be up before the target engages his or her warp drive.
Bubbles are not usable outside of 0.0 space. Heavy Interdictors can use the Warp Disruption Field Generator in 0.0 to produce a bubble from their ship or load a script into it that can produce an "infinite point", meaning it can warpscramble any ONE ship, even if it's normally invulnerable to ewar or has warp core stabilizers. In this mode, it can be used outside of 0.0, but can only target one ship, not produce the bubble effect.
Hope this helps answer your questions.

Um, are you asking about a warp disruptor, or a warp disruption bubble?

*Sigh* Necroing another thread, but it doesn't seem appropriate to create a new one yet, although I think it's something that may need to be looked into.
Does anyone know if it is intended that a warp bubble can pull a ship further out of warp than it would have?
This is the situation I came across...
.....................................................* BM1 (left over from plex)
......................................30+km between bubble and gate * Start (Gate A).....................O...* End (Gate B) ..................................Bubble (in line between gates)
I warped from gate A to a mid point bm (not shown), scan dest gate, see badness ahead, warp to BM1 (no problem I did not pass through bubble), warp to 100 of gate B (to cloak for better look) but end up in bubble. Is it inteded that it can extend a warp like this? or is it something else?
Sorry for crappy txt pic, but I'm too lazy to do something in paint.
