I think Aeon is one of the ugliest ships in game. I wonders who was smoking what when they drew that model. Anyhow, it needs some redesign ideas, plz make it as aggressive-looking as Nyx or the Caldari one. I'm forgetful with names.

its a good looking ship. . .and everyone I know who pilots one is very happy with its performance on the field and in the dressing room.

The Aeon has a striking resemblance to SARK's carrier from the old movie TRON.
I can't fly one, but I think its damn cool, so don't go messing with it's looks CCP ! |

I think it looks nice, better than the giant Coercer that the Archon is. Oh well i'm sure it will grow on me when I finally buy one.

i'm an alt, it is true. however, my main flies an archon and i need an aspiration to get a mom, those looks are hideous. Aeon looks like an old giant anathema- crap!

So your "main" flies the Archon, but you're, what, afraid to post with your Main that you don't like a ship model.

It wouldnt be so bad except for the goofy one-sided tumor (inb4 ITS NOT A TUMOR). Amarr ships are for the most part symmetrical, especially the larger ones. The glaring asymmetry in the Aeon would be cool if it was a caldari ship or a gallente one, but its not.
I'm convinced some gallente-dev shanghai'd the nyx model from the amarr, and left us with the goofy Aeon. Weird how the best mom is the ugliest mom.

I think the Aeon's looks are a matter of taste really. I'll admit, it isn't my favourite, but I don't think it's particularly bad.

It looks good. It's very much depending on the light in the system tho. Run premium graphics, zoom in on it in a 'dark' (dark blue preferably) system, avoid those with big suns and make sure the shades come from the right angle.. and it is the best looking ship in the game. Yes, The Best.
Then again, fly it in the red systems with a huge lightsource and it looks like poo.

The ship looks terrible. I've long wondered why the majority of the Caldari ships have no real symmetry (aside of a few, i.e. Rokh, Drake), and yet the Wyvern is symmetrical.
While the majority of Amarrian ships are symmetrical, and yet our mothership is horrible...
Boost the Aeon graphical design: I'll sign for that.

The archon is a really nice carrier imho, dunno if it's the best cause i like all of them.
except the thanatos
which looks bad
chimera + niddy are sex++ though.

somewhat ironically I think the aeon is easily the coolest looking mom in its portrait and the view from some camera angles.
The problem is, the asymmetry just isn't amarr and makes the ship look bad from other angles.
if the "giant tumor" were the actual shape/size of the ship like its profile view suggests, then it'd be a lot cooler.
Right now the silly "L" shape it makes when viewed from the front/behind makes it look kinda dumb.

But you "fail" the other 2 criteria, name and corp. So you're likely not to be an alt.

That's one of the reasons I like it. It actually does look like a carrier, which basicly, is exactly what the ship is.
It would look alot better with some Khanid-inspiration, giefv black Aeon, but the design is apropritate and fits both Amarr and a mothership imho.
