Shard Merchant Minmatar	Posted - 2008.10.15 18:04:00 - [1] 1. Offline Research Point gain. In the past people whose accounts were inactive were awarded T2 BPOs, now they get datacores for sale. This passive income allows you to make money without a subscription. 2. You set a long skill and get podded. You lose your implants, but your skill trains to completion as if it still had +5's plugged in. This gives you free skillpoints you wouldn't otherwise get. 3. Your main is training a long skill, and you get a character transferred to an empty slot on your account. Its also training a long skill. Two characters training skills on one account for a pretty long time. I'd like some clarification from CCP on whether these are bugs, features, exploits or something else. Don't want to get comfortable with something that can be taken away overnight. If anyone can recall other situations where you get something for nothing, post here. I like doing IBTL, because I'd hate to be proved wrong after the lock I mean, if you do IBTA you're guessing that Applebabe is gonna lock the thread, and then Navigator shows up and locks it, and then you just look like a fool for all history.

Back a few months ago, a merry band of people new to nano (i.e. carebears trying out PvP by way of FW) came to the forums and cried like their best pig died. While the PvP world has been dealing with nano and has developed rather solid tactics to counter it just sat a shook their heads at them. So, now every time that a group of people feel that they are being done and injustice, it is "TO THE FORUMS...WE WILL WHINE UNTIL WE GET OUR WAY!!!!" For the love of all that is holy you @$$ clowns need to learn to adapt to an ever changing world. It is not just in EVE that shit like this happens...real world shit happens the same way. I guess the same people that whine here are the same people that stop eating up in a tree because they found one bug that is on the verge of extinction. 99% of the species that ever lived on this world are dead, and same with the rules of this game. 99% of the way this game "used to be" is no longer. So, keep whining and make me laugh. I have tons of popcorn and a fridge full of alcohol. I cancelled my 2 accounts due to moderation on this forum. I supported the ghost training change, but I won't have some icelandic child deleting posts. When I complain to a supplier, in a humourous way, I don't expect them to scream 'SHUT UP' at me, Which is the CCP way of dealing with us. Good job mitnal

Nobody wants to buy my GTCs. I priced my last one at a very reasonable 1 billion ISK o.n.o. and I didn't get one offer. I'm thinking of doing a bogof tomorrow, see if I can shift the damn thing.

Have I been suicided in a exploit, yes. have others made more isk than me, yes. have others found ways to maximize their playing style, yes. have others found ways to grow their character whilst playing another character sub in other aspects of the game, yes. If someone buys a cap capable ghosted pilot, so what, take advantage of his inability to fly it for the first few days and gank it. all of the above, so what, I am in my sandbox and occasionally another jumps in thats bigger than me and reduces my space, adapt or die is the way. I have and will continue to evolve, yes it's grief when bad things happen to you, but get over it and move on and up, ccp give us a way to never hit rock bottom, not like we need to purchase fuel or food to continue our characters existance, they give us insurance and a free rookie ship, to get started once again. Like I said, remove all the inactive account functions once an account goes down, or give back the one that was specifically advertised (pre-ninja) as a feature and encouragement to return to shiny new prospects.
