Well, I came to EVE from WoW - a game where it was amazingly rare to even see a community rep on the forums, let alone a dev.
Then I come here, and I see dev posts along the lines of "good thread, we're monitoring this and taking it into account"
On WoW it was like shouting at a brick wall. It's easy to take dev attention for granted if they appear regularly on the forums, but it's actually pretty unusual when you broaden the scale a bit to look at other games.

^^I have to do this because they've started to simply remove stuff I post for the heck of it, as far as I can tell. Time to get back on their good side.

Thought overheating was pure crap when it first came out. Turns out it's pretty handy.
There's also less CTD's than there used to be.
