hi looks like there are a few scottish people in here ......im from aberdeen and i about 4 of my mates in this game are all from north east scotland ...has anyone set up a channel so that we can all speak on the game...any peeps from aberdeen give me a shout im stuck offshore and getting withdrawl symptoms lol.....speaks soon

There was similar thread to this a few months back where the suggestion was made that we should start a scottish Corp. One name suggested was Irn Cru, which I think is brilliant. A channel will only be set up if there are people logged in to it. If you join the "Scottish" channel and you're the only one there then that means you've just created it.
If you do end up being the one to create it just leave it open and others will turn up eventually.

I have met a few scots on eve now and it doesn't matter what corp we are all in we help each other out with things like discounts on ships and kit.
Its to late to organise a christmas **** up but how about an easter **** up in Glasgow for the scots?

Hey, I'm originally from falkirk but live in glasgow. The corp I'm in (rionnag alba) is made entirely of scots. It's nice to talk on teamspeak with others without some yank going 'whaaaaaaat caaaaaaaan youuuuuu saaaaaaaaaay thaaaaaaaaaat aaaaaagaaaaaaaain'. There's 31 of us, so far. It's surprising the amount of scots in the game. I probably know one of you guys from somewhere. Some guys in our corp randomnly knew each other from rl without knowing they played eve, which was weird. There's our recruitment thread if you get bored of your current corp or are looking for one.

Never ceases to surprise me how many fellow Scots populate this game. I'd love to see some figures from CCP on nationality i'm pretty sure per head the Scots are up there as the most prolific.

Moved out of my old house in January, moved into the new one couple of weeks back. In the interim I played EVE in "The Ministry of Gaming" [TMOG] web cafe on Bread Street. Anything up to half a dozen of us playing EVE at any one time when I was there - including at least one of the TMOG staff.

3 more aberdeen residents in starlancers, though none of us from aberdeen originally. Plus one Invernesian who's not from Inverness. The others are all proper scots though, while I'm only a quarter on my dad's side - but been here nearly 13 years now so the occasional 'fit' or 'fa' slips through Still waiting on my rota for the next couple of months, but if I can't get to the next meet in perth I'll try to get to a future one.
