I feel that the title of mining agent is misleading with the new 5 part missions that have come out. We do more fighting and hualing than we do mining. Granted mining agents only give out 10% mining missions. I feel that ccp needs to change this.

you do mining missions? What the hell for? Find some 0.5 system with no stations and start mining.
1. You earn significantly more.
2. You know what type of ore you are mining and thusly can have the appropriate skills and mining crystals.
3. You contribute to the economy? At least those of us doing missions have lots of isk, loot-reprocessed, salvage.
Not to mention this is very ironic. Courier missions and mining missions dont need any verity. literally there's no difference in drag this to this place and come back. It's the kill missions that need tons of verity and the only new mission I've seen in the passed 6months is this one storyline "extract the renegade" which is a ridiculous mission because so many people will decline it because people dont want to lose faction standing with gallente for no value.

I always turn that mission down. I'll have to check it out.
I mostly do level 4 mining missions for LP to get implants. It really sucks that CCP, in all of their infinite wisdom, removed all ores and ice that you could mine for yourself from level 4 missions. So now you only have a gas cloud, a piece of ice and a couple of pieces of ore to mine.
And they seem to give a lot more combat missions now. Midst of Deadspace? Gone Beserk? Are they nuts!!!

theres a couple lvl 4 missions I mine, but usually when you find mine able roids they are in the second or third pocket and not worth trying to get to with a hauler.
Its been a few months since i did any mining missions. They take about the same amount of time (or longer) than a lvl 4 combat mission for less LP and ISK, and nothing left over to mine for yourself like the occasional combat mission gives.
Add mining rewards, get rid of the combat, at least the combat requiring a well skilled pve'er, and make them so they can be dealt with by a good hulk Pilot carrying combat drones and I'd go back to doing them again.
/signed I also would like CCP to change they way they are currently set up.
Edit. They also require gas mining and ice mining skills, I can deal with that. would jst like to see rewards and no full fledged combat missions.
