I intend to start back into Faction Warfare, perhaps not on this toon as I am enjoying 0.0, but again.
However, I'm torn.
I really enjoy minmatar ships, especially the faction ships (firetail stabber and typhoon.)
However, I don't want to tjoin the Minmatar militia again, I want to join the relative underdogs, the Caldari and fight for them.
I'm torn on what to choose, ships or desire to fight for Caldari, what are your suggestions? |

join Caldari buy Caldari ships with your LP .sell the Caldari ships than buy mini ships you like. |

One of the things I notice reading forums is that there seems to be alot of negativity and nastiness from certain Caldari pilots. I don't think that's healthy for new people as they try to raise the next generation of militia pilots. The other thing is that if you join a faction and it doesn't work out, it will be hard to switch over to the opposing faction for fear of being labeled a spy. |

You are not limited to flying a certain racial ship based upon the faction you join. My Gallente character here is part of the Minmitar Militia, flies Amarr and Gallente ships, and often blows up various Minmitar and Caldari ships flown by the Amarr Militia.
If you're coming from the role playing angle though... I can't help you there.

Only difference is that you need to haul your LP store goodies to Jita and exchange them there for isk, which you then exchange for your faction boat. Besides, CN hookbill outperforms RF firetail in pvp so what you really want are stabber fleet issues anyway  |

Buy Caldari, sell them, buy Minmatar. Ok, it's a bit more work, but not all that much, and if you are willing to move the stuff a couple of jumps in between of buying and selling, you could actually turn a reasonable profit, too.
Don't go to Jita though, it's a silly place. |
