Hi there, I would like to make an announcement on a player killer. A man by the name of Steaith killed me today, and he now currently has a 200k+ bounty on his head. If you see this person, feel free to kill him, as he killed me (a new player) in my little frigate, costing me 800k in collateral 80k in a ship and at least 100k in equipment. Thanks for your time.

Ill keep an eye out, but unfortunately guys like that have a tendancy to run to a station or log when faced with a fair, or almost fair, fight.

Well, I was on my way to Ingunn I think it was to start a mission... It was my first mission, and I figured getting the highest rewarding mission would be best, as I need money for new skills... and a new ship. And yes, I am very new to EVE, Ive been playing only for about 5 days. Again, thank you for the help.. I would like to see this guy brought to justice.

Note added, he's now KOS if I see him, and if he decieds to stay around for a fair fight.
On a side note, I love pirates, being a carebear my self you add a lot of fun to the game. Honestly, i'm not sarcastic here, with out some danger from real thinking people this game would suck imo. I know someones going to flame me for this but... Sham on you for attacking a poor newbie. Come on, the ammo you spent killing that guy is worth more then the loot he could have carried. Really the more newbies that come into this game the better. They will eventually grow up and add thier own touch to this universe.

well being a person who loves pvp despite the fact that ive died more then ive won atm... ill keep an eye out for him and KOS but do yourself a favor try to avoid any area's below .5 if your that new to the game man... and i agree with the carebare above me what a waste... ive still got a few frigs if you hit me up in game you can have one hopefully your not posting with an alt because i WONT give one away to anyone else ;) anyway if i do bag the guy ill let ya know

Well Zikke, as much as I DO feel for your loss, I am afraid you are gonna have to get used to it. Pirates are common in EVE and well, we do like to see anything blow up. I am sure that almost everyone in EVE has been podded at least once, aside from the carebears who sit in 1.0 sec systems all day and mine Veldspar. Better that you learned the lesson now with a frig than in a year with a shiny new BS or something.
Vin Diesel claims he has never hailed a taxi. He just runs up to them at stop lights, opens the door, shoves the current passenger over, and tells the cab driver what his new destination is. |

If u dont like pirates then theres always 1.0 - 0.5 ;) Otherwise theres always the risk :P
Happens to all of us :) even pirates get ganked occasionally, if u cant afford to take the risk then just dont take it :/

Piracy is different to the "killeverythinginsight" attitude Fallshermjager have. You're not pirates, you're serial killers. Be proud of what you are! Pirates expect some monetary gain for thier work, such as the hijackers that demand isk in exchange for releasing your ship. You guys just hide in mid security space and gank newbs. People move Mega and Zyd around in Battleships and Industrials? No, they use a fast moving frig, with a randomly created " Alternate Charachter "

That's funny, steaIth was the first pirate I ever met, ransomed my thorax at a 0.4 cruiser spawn, I paid, he said thanks, left, and we had a nice chat. Was very professional about it.
Then again, the next day Lord Gank and 2 other Fallschirmjaeger guys blew me and a corp mate up without a word of warning, podded my corp mate, I got away through pure luck (was roughly aligned at gate when they warped in and had autopilot set, so flicked it on at once, of course, was warp jammed by then and dying fast from the missile spam of.. a scorp and 2 ravens I think, but anyways, my pod warped as soon as my ship blew).
Anyways, my point is, to me steaIth seemed like a decent guy, considering he's a pirate, but the same can't be said for the rest of his corp.

When steaith was just a lil nub he followed me around 0.5+ in a caracal telling me he would kill me and targeting me every time he saw me (i was in an arma). shame that was at about 3pm my time so i was too tired to play with him, otherwise i would have shown him the wonders of 0.4 belts was a good laugh tho :D i sure do hope his pirating skills changed since than hahaha
*edit* also the corp he's in now dosent just attack new ppl, my friend got ganked by tham in his bs a month or so ago and they ransomed 20mil off him. he said they were quite professional and friendly.

Just depends on ure luck really :)
If we catch u at a gate, chances are youll just get blown up cos most people try and run for the jump gate and we have to do something before the sentries eat us up so we'll prolly just kill u if we can and collect the loot with someone else or just collect it later.
However if we catch u in a belt then we'll prolly ransom u since weve got more time to sort things out then :)
So the moral of the story is, let us catch u in the belts whilst mining? :D
