Just out of curiosity, If I'm in a say raven, doing level 4 missions, and shooting a npc BS, does it die faster if I chain the guns with 1-2 secs between them or launching them all at the same time (drag finger from f1 to f8 really fast) ? or is there no difference?
Thanks for all replies --------------------

I don't think it really matters, I just use my G11 to fire all the missiles at once and they die plenty fast.

They'l die some seconds faster if you press all F keys at once. It will also look like as if youre shooting a ball of PURE DISCO expecially if you use different damagetype of missile on each slot.
However it sounds much cooler when you chain it. ---

I prefer to stagger the shots as not to waste rounds on a ship if it has less hitpoints left than what i'm shooting at it. Although if you're flying a raven you'll still have missiles en-route when it pops anyway, so it's a moot point.
Staggering fire does look cooler though i think.

If I see that the thing is in deep structure I just stop shooting missiles and let the ones in flight hit it, it isn't that hard to do and saves a little ammo and time.

A Navy Raven fitted with Navy launchers and ROF 5 will stream missiles in a continuous chain when you stagged the shots, it looks fkkin awesome.

well it depends really on how much DPS each shot does too. If your not doing good dps then the enemy wont die as fast. But if you have Cruise launchers fitted on your raven and your shooting from say 90km to 120km they will die before they get to you
