aggi345	Posted - 2008.10.18 01:06:00 - [1] Hello all. I've been looking into gate camping in low sec. My main problem is cash and to be honest i was looking to profit from it rather than fitting a hugely expensive setup and after getting some kills and isk losing everything + more. Now i've been flying battleships mostly (cost a fair bit but the only price i look at is the insurance price) and i was really wondering how it will be most effective to fit a Bs setup without spending loads and loads (remembering this is primarily for gate camping/ganking in small numbers). I'm amarr and/or gallente and i would really appreciate any fit ideas for any of the numerous bs's that these two races have to offer.

My second choice is a Hurricane because it's more fun to fly than a drake, and of course Brutix... on those suicidal days when I just wanna do lots of DPS P.S. It's nothing personal. I just want your stuff, and more importantly the fun of the fight.

Did i mention bs's hmmm let me think, no..... i said Bc and below (bs maybe but that's not the main point) I'm looking for a good solo bs or little squad fit basically now.... i was thinking hyperion or abbaddon - any ideas for my fits tank/gank .... this will only be to kill 1-2 targets and gtfo

If the BC is a mediocre or poor player with an unexceptional fit and skills.. But a BS vs a BS, sentries on you... dude, this guy is talking CHEAP. He's not got any faction mods, who knows if he has rigs, and I'll bet a beer he doesn't have slaves. Clearly there's a way to win a 1v1 bs "duel" under sentries. But cheap?

Also has a mean tank and not bad DPS. You really wanna rig it though the extra dps tanked is great. 8 ions / mwd web scram cap booster sensor booster / 2 lar 1 dcu 3hardeners or 3eanm. Problem with the hyp is catching faster cruisers is actually quite difficult even with the sensor booster, BCs work best for catching them for obvious reasons. Obviously I'm not engaging a full faction fit vindicator with slaves under sentries, but regular ratting/pve/etc BS is fine. _______________

I'm looking for bc's, cruisers, afs, haulers and more - not only haulers. And why the conversation from everyone else has become about bs vs bs solo on gate i don't know, it was hardly mentioned by me.

Cruisers are hard to catch in BS so you need a HIC, BC or C, ideally to kill them. HACs will have good loot but are best to avoid solo on a gate generally. AFs... isn't really a good goal, hard to catch especially if the pilot has any sense. Haulers, can be profitable and you can kill them in almost anything.
