we got useful slider for quickly adjusting angle of directional scanner. would be good another slider for range adjustment.
i made quick photoshop image. Link
i belive it would be extremely useful on tight pvp situations.

That's a cool idea, although a couple other things I would change....Make the max scan range a number that makes more sense, like round it off to either 14 or 15 AUs. Not somewhere in the middle. Then, make the slider slide in increments of AU's instead of billions of KM. Still leave the box there though so you can adjust it manually for more accurate ranges if you want.

I'd like to still be able to put in a number, but this might still help a lot.

include a check box to toggle between KM and AU and your golden.

I think a slider is unnecessary... However what I'd LOVE to see is perhaps some little player defined ranges for quick loading. I can set the ranges up to the needed km/au range of my probes. This way I odn't have to have my km->au notepad text file up for quick km copying to paste in the range textbox...

IIRC CCP is working on redesigning the exploration stuff, including the scanner to make it 'more fun'. I'd say a slider would be a reasonable addition for that. My guess is that we'll be seeing that Soon (tm) or EVEntually (tm).

I was thinking the same thing recently, a slider would help out massively. I think being able to 'Snap to' certain ranges (perhaps user defined) would make this idea ubah.
