After the Quantum Rise patch on SiSi many players encountered graphic problems in EVE. I've decided to make a thread here so we can get a summary of our PC specs etc. Also you should post some screnshoots.
My specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2,0Ghz Powercolor ATI Radeon 9600pro 256/128 (AGPx8) (with damaged memory chips, althou there are no artifacts on TQ) TwinMOS 1024 Mb DDR Windows XP SP2 32bit DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) 1887 Mb Page File
http://img519.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tx1fk9.jpg - Character Sheet, in-station, many things missing http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tx3xn6.jpg - Fitted raven, undocked, lots of stuff missing again http://img519.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tx4dd2.jpg - Naglfar's Turrets... kinda bugged :D http://img411.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tx5qi7.jpg - Docked... Background missing, icons missing, pod model missing
Also if you've got similar problems send a bug report at http://bugs.eve-online.com/ and attach DxDiag file (more info at 'How to make a bug report' thread).
Short description: Nice day, you log into your SiSi account, you see a nice new logging window... you choose your character, progress bar, and then...: - Your ship model is missing - Lots of buttons don't have their icons - Lots of other things are missing
You think 'Ow my god! CCP messed the graphics engine!'. You write in chat that stuff is missing. Althou only couple of playing players have the same problem. Thank you think 'hmm...'. I've changed the Interval (or something like that) to Immediate (ESC > Advanced Graphic Options) but nothing happened... You undock. Module buttons are missing, ship icons in the overview are missing, avatars in chat window are missing, ship models missing. 'What the...' you say. You enter the eve-online.com forums and find this thread. You post your comment about that. Then you go to bugs.eve-online.com and you send a bug report...
I hope that will be fixed... =/ Never outnumbered, never outgunned |

I have the same problem on my older machines, Models take forever to show up on the test server. Some times they just dont. Sprites look all fubard. Icons and UI stuff is missing.
On both ATI and NVidia equipped boxes. Never had this problem before this last set of patches. Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 bytes. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] ~Saint |

Hmm, after last changes, after longer time of playing on SiSi i've encountered artifacts on the desktop (im playing in window). I've got damaged memory chips on my graphics card thou, but TQ is alright (other games i'm getting artifacts are those who are working on the Source Engine - Half-Life 2, CS:S, etc.). Artifacts on desktop means that the graphics engine uses more GPU that it was using earlier. I also have some pretty lags, not by internet connection, but by other things... when fitting something, lag, when warping out/in, lag, when I do anything, lag.
I think i should buy a new PC... but i can bet at less 30% of players have damaged graphic cards, and they will start encountering artifacts on desktop, or even in-game. Never outnumbered, never outgunned |

Its the interval thingy.
Mine was on the wrong setting, currently on the wrong pc and dont have eve installed, doh.
But change your interval settings, and your ship should appear when in space, might also solve the other graphic issues.

from what i have seen and heard on the test server, if you run the premium graphics you need to turn off HDR Bloom to solve this issue. There were some devs saying to do that and that they know the issue exists. that will atleast let you use the test server instead of seeing grey screens.

Turning off HDR bloom solved it for me, thank you very much for the hint

OK, press ECS, Display & Graphics
Make sure Advanced Settings is ticked.
Bottom option, Present Interval, set it to Interval Default, its probably set on Interval Immediate.
This solved things for me, ships instantly started to load

For those of you missing textures and UI buttons in flight.. i believe it has been fixed now.
I have made a "clean" Singularity install (copy Tranquility client, install the big patch) today. Started in classic client ..then switched premium, shadows and HDR on and haven't encountered problems like this until now.
