I've got a couple of weeks to Drone Interfacing V. After that's done I'm going to get some T2 sentry drones.
I understand that these drones really pack a punch and also can hit out at some decent distances. Is it feasible to drop them, sick them on a target from their max distance, then orbit the target scramming, tanking and dampening so he/she can't hit your drones? I have never used them and would welcome some feedback on if my idea is good or bad and also of any other tactics deployed to use these interesting drones.

Sentry drones are amongst the most useful of loots, coming soon to a system near you __________________________________________

Edited by: Felix Dzerzhinsky on 19/10/2008 12:59:35 Sentry Drones are expensive, and you will find yourself losing them a lot because you don't have 30 mins to wait for them to return to you.
Expensive but addictive habbit that ----

Yes, you can do that. And you'll only lose them if you time it badly and have to run before picking them up (you don't wait for them to 'return', as they are practically immobile).
Excellent drones, good mix for range, tracking, and firepower. Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 bytes. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] ~Saint |
