The second summit of small corporations and freelancers, hosted by the Olympian Cooperative, has been scheduled for 1700 GMT on Sunday, 22 June. This summit will take place in the same channel as last time, "Olympian Summit".
The agenda for this time will include the discussion of a formal alliance or at least United Nations-style structure, specific benefits provided by members to other members, discussion of current events in Evespace, and other items that attendees wish to bring up for discussion.
The Olympian Cooperative continues to host these summits as a service to other small corporations and freelancers. We are a loose organization of traders, miners, explorers, and combat pilots, working for the benefit of our members and the small business community as a whole. We encourage all freelancers to look into joining the Cooperative or similar organizations, such as the Freelancers Union, Freelancers Unincorporated, or one of the other freelancer organizations throughout Evespace.

As much as I love the idea, have you all considered IRC as a possible venue? I just despise eve's chat interface.... -=-------------------------------------------=-

Well, that's something we could bring up Sunday I suppose. I am not a big fan of the chat interface either (takes up a lot of screen real estate I'd rather use to see the game), but it does guarantee that everyone speaking is who they say they are, and that everyone who has the game can be involved (although installing an IRC client really isn't that big a deal).

Hmm...a point....but I just hate the lag...and the fact that its hard to deal with when tons of people are typing, even more so than IRC (atleast there you can +m the channel). -=-------------------------------------------=-

Is this only for small corporations.. or is this for the entire universe?

It is focused mainly on small corporations and freelancers. I do not think large corporations will be interested anyway, since they can meet most of their own needs without any outside help. This will be to create a free trade organization that will help small corporations and freelancers keep up with the larger corps (or at least, have a better chance of doing so).
