I believe you need higher cybernetics to use higher tech implants when they are released. -------

I think I had to train mine to level 3 to use +4 implants. I have mine at level 4; but I think I only trained it an extra one to be ready for +5 and more implants down the road.
I don't play window mode so can't tell what a +4 implant takes in Cybernetics, but I think it was at least a level 3 to use it.

+4 implants require cybernetics 4. There are some +4 implants on market but they are quite rare and very expensive, but no, the skill doesn't give any specific bonus. +5 implants and up(when released) will not require cybernetics, but will require Electronic Engineering at 1, 3, and 5 for +5, +6, and +7 respectively. |

Electronic Engineering requires cybernetics, or no? _________________________________________________________

No, Electronic Engineering requires Science 5 and Electronics 5. |

I now have Cybernetics level 5. I am also very poor too, but something compelled me to train the skill now so I dont need to train it later.
Taken from the May 29th 2003 Devchat at EveGate . <Muaddid> Q: When will sentry gun and station and similar construction pods be introduced on the market? <Hellmar> we have various player owned entities already implemented. Sentry guns, power/shield generators, field repair mini-stations, mobile refineries. We are still working out the last tidbits of how they can be over taken, what is the penalty of having a sentry gun kill a n00b etc. and we have been a bit busy with plugging the holes that people have found.I would say that you'd start to see these items on the market in about 2-3 weeks, very expensive to begin with |

The skill has nothing to do with the number of implants you have, its the kind of implants you can equip. Lvl 4 Cybernetics is required to equip +4 implants, not 4 implants. |

really stupid question, sorry, but where do you buy implants? I can't seem to find any on the markets I've been through.
thanks

Market of course have it listed, but it looks like you are finding nobody is selling on market right now. If you don't know, I believe the implants are listed under Accessories near top or something similar to that. IE: It is not a module, ship, blueprint, etc...
You can also find them in the Trade channel(s), in the forums, and from word of mouth from those doing missions and you want one of the implants.
There is also a couple of +4's in the forum right now of Willpower.

There are 4 Interfacing skills listed on the eve-i.com object explorer that will need Cybernetics 5. As for Adv. Cybernetics Tech it may have dissapeared. The +5, +6 and +7 implants now have Electronic Engineering listed as a prerequisite skill. --------------------------------------------- Engineers motto; If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway. |

Nice, but just like pretty much everyone here, once the new learning skills are released, those are the ones that get first priority above all else...
I¦ve seen the training time multipliers for some of the unreleased skills in the eve-i database and with titan skill being a rank 12 skill, that¦s 3 million sp to max out that single skill alone..

don't be too sure about that. The interfacing skills are for interfacing with other types of implants that give bonus' to combat skills, such as Weapon Smartlinks etc. --------------------------------------------- Engineers motto; If it doesn't fit, force it.
