During the CSM/CCP meeting last winter, word has spread about the Drake finally being nerfed. Any news from CCP whether or not this is still happening? Perhaps with the Inferno release?

Man, I hope they "nerf" a few more caldari ships like that too.

Well... depends on the % of the bonus to the rate of fire and missile velocity. Surely CCP wouldn't give us a bonus of 5% per level. But I'm going to miss the resist bonus in the WH. |

The only problem I see with Tengu is for some bad readers the ability to post things they have no clue about.
Is Tengu the only T3 that can fit larger modules? -no
Is Tengu using one of the best weapon systems in the game? -hell yeah
Can you jump in to a Tengu fast and use it? -hell with all subs lvl1 and related skills at minimum you can, dps difference is 100% with a guy with all 5, ho wait all other T3's it's all alike.
Give Proteus a decent sub so it can use 250's effectively like Tengu can use Heavy missiles and other T3's have a lot of issues like this one making them less effective than Tengu.
But then people should stop wining about Tengu and post constructive posts how to improve other T3's, this is where the problem is.

The odd thing about Caldari subcaps is the fact that I can fly them on two of my characters pretty much perfectly, I've never flown them, because whenever I want to fly one and start looking around, they're either subpar (most of them), are focused around lame mechanics I refuse to apply (ECM) or so grossly imbalanced only terrible people fly them and hence I don't want any of my characters to be seen in any of these ships (Drake, Tengu).
The upcoming drake rework only rebalances damage vs. tank which is completely out of line - it's not a nerf at all.
The Tengu needs some nerfing, and then all Caldari ships need to be looked at accross the board - maybe some little buff that affects them all or maybe a midlsot mod similar to a TC but for missiles (but not TC's applying bonuses to missiles) - can't really say as I never fly them and therefore lack first hand experience...

If anything I would consider those changes a buff.
Rof bonus adds more damage than an equal damage bonus, AND your no longer limited in damage type if you want your bonus.
Velocity bonus means less delay before you start doing damage, and more practical range on HAMs. |

Compared with Gallente line, Caldari is way overpowered and need a nerf hammer.
