Hi all,
for some time i've been working on something to share your fittings with in a corp/alliance.
Some screenshots are available here -> eFD
Is there interest in this as a hosted service and how much would you like to 'pay' for this in ISK monthly/once. New stuff will be added since its still in beta. Some corporations are already running this and they are my testing pilots. Mail me for the possibilities on this if you already are interested and want more information.

Have been using this (PsyCorp) for quite some time, and it actually works really well, and ties in with our phpbb3 user database via a simple api written by J nx, so administration, and maintanence is minimal. Moderators of forums can Admin eFD, and Users can view and submit.
Its based off the Chribba's Eve Live Fitting Database Website, (here) but has a few extra features designed for alliance or corporation use.
Things like "Alliance Standard Fits" for example. Where alliances can store there fleet fits they want there pilots in, but on a secure private system, rather than the public system by Chribba.
Also has pricing of fits from Eve Central, as well as the common Evemon and EFT support.
The idea or concept orginally came from Virtuozzo over IRC, who wanted a private version of what Chribba was doing... J nx heard this on IRC, and was the guy who stepped up and coded it.
Many corporations or alliances may find this useful though... Perhaps Eve University comes to mind for example, or alliances who have training schemes for new pilots, etc... Useful as new pilots can browse ship fittings and download skill plans and fittings for EveMon and EFT with ease.
Only issue people could have is about security, as J nx hosts service, however the only information J nx has is a database of your ship fittings, which is not really a concerning issue for me.
Benifit of the hosted service is that updates can be delivered to all users as they are released by J nx, and that the service is more accessable to corporations or alliances who do not have there own team of php/mysql knowledgable pilots to install, debug, and maintain the extra site and database.
Anyway...
I am pleased you spent the time working on this, and its certainly an improvement to the usual "Ship Fitting" forum sections you see on corp or alliance forums, so thanks for letting us (PsyCorp) test the service early.

Hi everybody,
Nice to hear, that this tool will be available. Do you need someone to test this, or to help programming this? I have already written a similar software, but it would be nice to combine the power of programming.

For now its a closed project, but i appriciate the offer. Its a small project and i would like to fix and add all the features needed. Perhaps when its a 'finished' product i will create an installer so people can use it on their own servers.

public mode is running here -> Public eFD with registration based on API

Its a bit on a low pace atm. I got some stuff i need to arrange in RL, after that it will advance since i got some new ideas. It wont get public for a while, only hosted.
