Hey guys,
I've been playing around with my claymore on sisi, and there is an issue : i fitted 3 skirmish warfare gang modules on it (the speed ones), but it doesn't change anything that i activate 1 or 3 of them, my microwarpdrive goes from 500% to 747% speed bonus. Looks like u can use only 1 of them ? Is that intented or is it a bug ?
Olso, a single warfare module should give about 23% (if i recall correctly) bonus to my mwd speed. But 500 + 23% ain't equal to 747. Neither is 500 + 23% + 23% + 23%, so i'm not really sure how do i get this number.
Sorry about the language, english ain't my natural one so i hope you guys understand what i mean. |

you using all differnt ones? or all the same Warfare gang module?
Are you in a fleet when you turn on the gang modules?

Currently CCP is in the process of making extensive changes to speed balancing.
Therefore, it should not be suprising to see bugs in gang effects related to speed.
You will likely find the most helpful responces to your questions in the Game Development forum.
If you are reasonably certain that what you are finding is a bug and not a rebalance, then file a bug report.

Only the strongest applies, always been like that. Also, 23% is multiplicative bonus, applied as 1.23*(speed boost value of MWD). Speed boost value of MWD in formulae is final, that is, taking AC skill and hardwirings into effect, too.

Ok i found one mistake. Indeed it's not 500% + (something) it is 643% + (something) because i forgot to take skills into account.
So 643% + 16% (1 skirmish link) = 747%.
But it should be 23% bonus, not 16% (and it is written 23% in description) because of the skirmish warfare midlink implant i've got. Without it , it's written 16%. But in both case, speed bonus stays the same as if i didn't have the midlink implant.
Olso, you are saying it's normal it takes only the strongest (means 1) ? So what's the point of being able to fit 3 links on a CS ? |

At one point it wasn't strange or unheard of to fit gang links to bonus something else besides speed.
So there is the radical concept of bonusing other attributes like shield/armor hp % and web/scram range. Of course the ship bonuses don't help these other links.

Ok then.... only bug is the skirmish midlink implant not being taken into account (it is in module description though, but not in effective speed bonus)

I was going to do some tests myself on sisi on this, but there don't appear to be any stargates there anymore. 
Until the jovians give them back. I can't actually get to any microwarpdrives. I can tell you, however, that currently the Skirmish Warfare Link - Rapid Deployment does absolutely nothing to the attributes of afterburners. So, I'd wager it's just something (like 'accidently' removing all the stargates in the universe) that's currently gone a bit **** up.
