Zanarkus Amarr Pelennor Swarm G00DFELLAS	Posted - 2008.10.22 15:11:00 - [5] hmmm i was thinking more along the lines of active tanking... like this old one i used to use: [HIGHS] 7X ION II'S W/VOID [MIDS] 1X TS CAP BOOSTER W/ 800'S 1X QUAD LIF BOOSTER [100MN MWD] 1X LANGOUR WEB 1X FAINT WARP PROHIBITOR [LOWS] 2X AMARR NAVY LAR 1X AMARR NAVY EANM 1X DC II 1X 1600MM ROLLED TUNGSTEN 3X GALLENTE NAVY MFS [RIGS] 2X AUXILIARY NANO PUMP II'S 1X TRIMARK ARMOR PUMP [DRONES] 5X BERSERKER II'S This setup pushes out almost 1200dps with EHP of 102k and repping 2534/cycle. keep in mind i do use a -5% turret cpu hardwire

CHECK Beyond jumping into camps and absorbing damage, your fit is useless. With rigs and all that fun stuff, any well fit tier 3 bs will laugh at your dps. Not to mention anything with neuts will have your guns turning off left and right, negating your already crap dps into almost no dps. In an eve where a fully t2 fit battleship can tank anywhere from 1000-1400dps, having the capability to do 1500+ DPS takes precedence over having 320k EHP. DPS comes first in a gank ship, within reason of course. The critical difference between 1200 and 1550dps is reason. ________________________________ TEMP BOI MK. 2

This but I'd vote dropping Neutrons for Ions until Heavy Injector fits, otherwise Neuts will destroy you. To other guy, whilst fitting 3 magstabs might be cool and all the gain in DPS is far outweighed by the extra EHP you get from the plate and if your flying this alone you have lots of ISK or are stupid because you will die. BYO RR BS gang or Falcon....

BYO RR BS gang or Falcon.... Any attempt at projecting a sense of experience in your post became void the moment you suggested fitting ions on a navy mega. Fitting 3 magstabs isn't to be "cool" as you so eloquently put it. It is necessary; much moreso than the extra EHP, especially in a solo situation. Winning a fight in a gank ship requires that your dps OUTMATCHES their tank. If you can't break their tank while it's running at its full capacity, you will die. Unfortunately, like I said in my previous post, 1200dps these days won't get you very far in breaking a respectable tier 3 bs tank. In those cases, your extra 40-50k EHP will just delay your inevitable death. Try flying the ship and getting some kills in it before you proclaim your expertise next time, kthx. ________________________________ TEMP BOI MK. 2

He already has 2 faction MFS on, You using officer's or fitting 5 of them? I'd like to know your 1550 dps setup. Even with Orges and stead of Zerkers. and 8 (EIGHT) shadow serp MFS, 1526 dps is the highest I can get. Ahh there we go. 2x Cormacks, and 2x Brynn's gives it 1545dps. Although with the offline smartie between the guns, you get a good 90 seconds of overload time, so getting near sustained 1500+ DPS isn't out of the question, considering most things will die long before 90 seconds. Regardless, to be honest, I really don't care how you fit your ship(s). I'm sure you'll enjoy your little buffer and your less than extraordinary dps to its fullest. You might even get a couple of kills with it. Experience clearly doesn't mean **** when you've got EFT. IN CONCLUSION, IM A NUB, YOU'RE AMAZING.
