So, a friend of mine talked me into starting an eve account, and I've only got around to playing now, but sadly he's busy with work and stuff atm so.. maybe I can get some friendly advice here?
Can I raid for gold in Eve? And if so, where?

If you mean 'raid' in the WoW sense, there is group content versus NPCs in EVE. Some people take groups of players in to clear more involved missions if they do not have a ship able to solo it, or they want company. Incursions are content that requires a group. These are 'infestations' of pirates in various constellations that move about the map. Properly set up gangs of T2 cruisers can clear these for profit. Wormhole space also contains content that's quite profitable which requires a group, but I don't know the details of that very well.
If you mean it in terms of piracy, any player can hold another player hostage for a ransom. It's all about getting out there and actually doing it.
For either of these activities, or anything in EVE, it works better and is more enjoyable if you're in an organization where you can find other players with your interests. |
