on the first one, select the text as a layer and blend it into the background more. the text is too prominent. just my 2 cents. nice work

ok. fixed it as best I could to match the auto grid. Depends on Icon size though which is a pain.

I like this one apart from two things:
a) the fading effect around the ships is good but at the top and bottom of the pics u can see the boxes and straight lines. Could you get rid of this?
