My friend and i suffered horrible loss due to angel webifiers. How do you counter Webification? I know there is no counter to target painting but is webifying another one that you just have to kill the ship to get out of it?

The best counter is to stay outside web range. 10km or more. After that it's all or nothing. Alternatively kill the opposing ship. _______________

DPS is the solution. If it doesn't solve your problem, you're not applying enough of it.

The counter for being webbed is to use Warp core stabilizers in your low slots but this is not really the way to go because it messes up you targeting. The best advice really is keep an eye out for the ships that web, kill them (drones can be very effective for this).
A lot of how you handle them depends on the ship you are in and your fit.

You can also break lock on the webber ship, by means of an ECM jammer, or sensor dampener if it's a long-range webber such as a Huginn.

Utterly wrong. Use WCS (warpcore stabilisers) against warpscrambling. Counters against webbing: mentioned earlier in this post: keep out of range, warp off or, off course, "apply sufficient DPS" . *** My opinions are my own, and don't necessarily represent those of my corpmembers. |

Keep out of web range and/or use ECM to prevent a lock.

If you're somehow looking to counter the speed decrease, fly faster ships in general (add overdrives, fit MWD, etc.), which will keep you moving faster overall. Other than that, there's no anti-web module in the game, other than those you fit in your high slots.

Actually depending on what your flying and assuming the ship webbing you is of a frig class an ECM burst can work pretty good.
Best counter is killing it though, it means it won't do it again.

Yep, ECM works, I prefer to just watch the target go poof though :)

Or bring a friend in a Rapier/Huginn and have him double web the webifier at 40km before he gets near you |

Just thought I'd mention it considering I had a Navy Mega get away because the freak flying it had fitted a ECM burst so I couldn't hold him down. Really rude if you ask me.

Your only hope against NPC webs is to kill the ship in question. EWAR is, for all practical purposes, ineffective. |

This is EVE. Obviously you sit back and wait for them to nerf it.
But really, if it's an NPC ship, just kill it somehow. -
