I just started up eve and on login page I got an advert for itunes I think it was.
Is this soemthingt hey playing with or was it just an overlay from another window possibly my browser.

AFAIK the only ads in the launcher are for CCP-sanctioned products, namely the magazine and fanfest. Anyway if it didnt have one of those gray 'this ad will only appear once' things, it wasnt the launcher.

i saw an advert for commadore gaming computers. mind you i didn't see what was going non in the advert cos the "logging in" was over the advert and i couldn't read it.

well was'nt the on ont he launcher ti was on character select screen but it was probably a flash ad from browser overlaying it I guess

I would be surprised if CCP started advertising on the splash screen, well actually I wont be, now that I think about it. Nope, would not surprise me at all. I awaiting a day when "Diet Pepsi" adverts or "alienware" will start playing on the billboards. |

I think that would happen within a week of EA buying out CCP.
We would also see dancing ships.
