Auto patch fails, manual patch from website works.

I keep getting invalid username and password. I deleted old test folder, copied main eve folder over to new test folder, applied patch from site, but still same. What am I doing wrong? |

Likely, not anything. I'm having the same issue as well.
Bummer, finally a day when I can get some testing done. |

if you get the invalid username or password, make sure you are connecting to the right server.
Mine was trying to connect to some internal ccp server. after checking my shortcut i realized i had mistyped the server command at the end. make sure you add "/server:87.237.38.50" at the end of the command line for the test server shortcut(outside the quotations in the command line and without quotations). Mine was missing the ":" which used to work but now the patch defaults to an internal ccp server, and not the public test server. |

Fixed the issue for me by copying over my TQ folder, and applying the full TQ-SISI patch. It didn't work before, but now the latest version does.

Manual patch is failing for me as well.
Throws the error: "Patching Error in file resdungeions.stuff. The specified file did not have the correct CRC.
This indicates that your installation is corrupt. Please reinstall EVE-online."
I've tried auto-patching from the game three times and manually twice. |

opening the eve test server shortcut and placing the follwing in the Target line worked like a charm:
C:\EVETEST\eve.exe /server:87.237.38.50 |

Originally by: Beelzebub Beeblebrox Manual patch is failing for me as well.
When everything else fails try manually patching from the TQ version. Make sure you have enough hard drive space available for the patching process. Preferably 1G to be safe.
Also note that you need to have /server:87.237.38.50 in the shortcut in order to actually connect to right server. |
