CCP nerfed Pax Amarria because it was reprocessing into mineral that was worth more than Pax itself. Someone got ahold of the database dump and now its being reprocessed into even more profitable mineral??!!?
Why don't you just give us a ******* isk printer instead? |

Not really, if Pax is going for 3320 p/u on the market and Zydrine is 19 x 1400 p/u...

No, it still would be an ISK sink.
You give NPC a pile of ISK, that ISK disappears from the universe, you receive a magick book -> ISK is destroyed You refine that magick book into a few bars of Zydrine and trade it to another player for ISK that player had on-hand -> no new ISK is created.

\o/ CCP new plans for ISK sink == mineral Faucet
Confirming this trick is a ISK sink not a printer since ISK leaves the economy ( but is replaced with minerals :) And Caesar's spirit, raging for revenge, With Ate by his side come hot from hell, Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war,That this foul deed... -á |

Please educate a newbie. What is Pax Amarria?
My Googling suggests it's a book, which seems to be a non sequitur. |

Written by Heideran VII, the Amarr Emperor himself, Pax Amarria is the most remarkable book published in the last century. In it the Emperor writes about his hopes and dreams for peace throughout the galaxy; a vision that has propelled him into becoming the champion of improved interstellar relations. His relentless strive for these goals has brought unparalleled harmony in the relationship between the empires; his constant search for peaceful solutions to any problem having many times becalmed brewing storms of hostilities on the horizon. His determination and powers of persuasion have compelled his own people and others to sacrifice many things they thought sacred to ensure that tranquillity will prevail, now and forever. This is a signed copy, with Heideran's signature at the front: "Semper Pax. Heideran VII". ================================== There is also a fradulent Pax Amarria: This Pax Amarria binding hides a heretical manuscript. And Caesar's spirit, raging for revenge, With Ate by his side come hot from hell, Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war,That this foul deed... -á |

How does it relate to all this mineral discussion? Amarrians make their books out of exotic minerals found floating only in the deepest darkest reaches of space. |
