Executive brief: Best ship question for Caldari:
I currently can tank 2/10 DED space with ease in a Hookbill and have decided to move up the ladder...
Noob - Cladari pilot, haven't actually found a 3/10 DED space yet, (prefer Guristas). I gather they only allow cruisers in, does this included battle cruisers, if so which Caldari ship/set-up would be best to tank the rooms?
My skills are currently stronger in missiles than guns but I plan to cross over to rails when I finish Heavy Launcher 2's - So Gila/Vulture/NavyCaracal/Nighthawk...?

No, just cruisers.
3/10 = cruisers
4/10 = battlecruisers
Best bet to tank them would be a Moa, I'd bet; what with the shield resistance bonus per level. |

Ideal ship for a guristas 3/10 is Ishtar, and Cerberus is great. If you want to use a faction ship I'd go with maybe a passive tanked Navy Caracal. However, all of these ships are overkill imo. A well fit and carefully flown t1 cruiser can do 3/10s without a lot of trouble.

since you can easy run a 3/10 in a t1 frig any cruiser will do just fine, even with some fail fit.. |

eXtas I can currently tank a 2/10 DED space in a Hookbill 'frigate' but its good of you to contribute in your own special way. Oh did I say frigate? so I may have to try one of them then.
Navy Caracal looks promising, any fitting suggestions would be appreciated

Have you already learned to use scan probes  ?
'cause without I doubt you will ever run anything else than 2/10 DEDs  .
Well, the good thing about it is you don't have to worry about which cruiser to fly and how to fit it  . |
