Using the intel channel and just common sense will prevent you from ever dying in CVA space. I spent a while in an alliance blue to CVA. I didn't go too far into 0.0 but I was nestled off in my ratting corner with safespots every which way. AAA showed up a LOT. Just use a map and some caution and you'll be fine. _______________________

CVA and friends are NRDS and we stick to that.
As far as I know the known ways to get on our KOS list are:
Piwating and shooting at non kos people in Providence Being an adversary of GOD and EMPIRE (We are roleplayers and wear pointy hats) Macro farming
I'm not anywhere near involved in making kos policies, so you may be able to get on the list in other ways as well - use your imagination.
Q: How do you make a disobediant Minmatar slave scream? A: Skin it and roll it in salt. |

Take the caps out of the URL. You have to have it on your "trusted" list as well (since CVA members get more options, so it has to know who is who).
Turnaround depends on the diplo you evemailed and how busy they are. I'll go investigate it
_______ People like that don't have friends just temporary common interests.

Ok thanks, the non-caps works. I'm not KOS amazingly so I might come over and rat a little bit.
Thanks :P

CVA space really does need more active pirates/roaming ganks really Flew through there recently with a few buddies. Have to say.. It was like being in an amusement park.. Didn't take long for an 80 man blob to appear, so best stay on the move! -----------

Originally by: Cupdeez The 0.0 CVA space has horrible rats.. I think you can find better rats in empire.
Actually, assuming you have half a brain and chain the ratting/salvaging is way more profitable than the best lvl 4 mission running. The only downside is it can be difficult some days to find a system to chain, and there is always the odd numbskull that breaks the chains. The rats typically die way faster than the mission rats and provide (on average) better bounties.
Never seen an officer spawn but the usual BS faction and hauler spawns.
If you explore there are also Bistot belts and all the other usual arch/salvage stuff.
Originally by: Cupdeez Although if you rat hunt CVA they drop pretty good stuff. They will bring 20 people for a 5 man gang so watch out. Normally you can pick them off but expect a fight from them.
And the difference from the other space holding 0.0 alliances in this respect is?
Cheers, Ruf. PS: the other (non-holder) residents of Providence often form fleets to go after intruders too, so it can be some fun pewpew too. Of course although some of the fleets are excellent it can be hit and miss.
CVA will try and fight back if you don't big a massive gang. Most alliance we visit don't don't do anything but logg off.

Edited by: Stonie Bandit on 31/10/2008 17:03:54 Edited by: Stonie Bandit on 31/10/2008 17:02:56 Providence is a great spot to check out what 0.0 can offer. With a cloack, wcs and safe spot, you are pretty safe.
While mining you can ask local for assistance for killing rats, and people are actually commin and dont shoot you, but the rats
If you go for the first time in 0.0 to rat, I suggest to make contact in local, and let somebody explain the chain rules. What they really hate, is those oppertunist (like me) screw up their chains and therefore the BS spawns.
The only downside I found was the NRDS policy, and checking each local member in the KOS list. After a week and setting some corporations and allainces to red in my personal settings, I was set.
If you leave your additute in high sec, you will find that everybody is willing to help you out.

Who gives a damn, the CVA pets in Providence drop better loot.

CVA invites carebear neutrals into their space to attract reds who prey on them, so they have people to shoot in casual PVP, without leaving home. It's a win-win. \o/
Er, well, except for the neuts. Hmm...
