Why is it the after gank mail/convo usually includes "come to 0.0 and we'll see who's laughing".
Does nullsec somehow transform f**ktards into some kind of DeadlyUberMegaPilot (D.U.M.P.)?
TBH I never noticed any dif to my abilities in nullsec, maybe my I.Q. wasn't low enough for the spacial anomallies to have an effect. |

Null sec or OMGBLOB space as I prefer to call it is a special place where these f**ktards have their dictor friends ready to have fun with your pod. I think these people just think that they are uber cos they live in lawless space, yet I actually find null sec space safer than low sec space. Don't know why, but just do.

0.0 in fact has more **** players and dumbasses than empire, BUT they can call in their OMGDUMBASS blob with dictors and carriers and what other **** not, at a moments notice.
In reality these people find 0.0 scary themselves and are very proud of their achievement of living there :)
Been there, done that and no thanks you can keep your OMGBLOBSPACE...
just keep ganking away at them in empire and laugh... |

Because true pvpers go to 0.0.
People that pvps in low sec or high sec do it because they can't handle pvpers in 0.0, low sec is full of noobs, you're never going to learn how to properly pvp unless you go to 0.0 IMO

So, in your opinion, "REAL PVP" only occurs in 0.0?
Isn't that pretty much what Jake said?
If you prefer 0.0 PvP, GREAT! I'm happy for you.
Perhaps not every EVE player agrees with you though.

This. Right here.
I spent a few months in null sec, around the Utopia area (Respect to Utopian Research IEL ). PvP has been turned into a true form art there.

Or as one guy once said "0.0 is for people who dont know how to properly tank their ships."
While it's a joke of course, all the serious "come to 0.0" is way more amusing. I remember a guy with bio warning all the "low life noob ganking pirates" that they may kill him, but would they have what it takes to go to Delve and meet his main?
He was doing low sec anomalies in a drake. No doubt to finance the building of his titan. He also had the habbit of warping his cerb at 100 and shoot plain t1 EM missiles at armor tanked ships. I have a corpse somewhere, but not sure where. Misplaced. |

Because we can tank you, your mother, that dude that i saw nexus sneaking around with last night, and still kill you first while tanking sentries.

Nothing. PvP is just that, players fighting players. Some people like blowing smoke up their own arses, that's the problem.
Not spent much time in 0.0, but being a big fan of lowsec (bar sentries), I think it's just a difference in play style really.

I guess most of those mails come from haulers being killed in empire due to wardecs.. As we live in nullsec, and use empire only for shopping, wardecs *can* be quitte annoying, although it heavily depends on the WT's.. I can imagine wardecced corps are not even willing to give a fight in empire, since they have all ships in nullsec. I'd *love* to see an empire 'griefer' corp come to our place and have a real fight, instead of popping haulers.. I mostly think they see 'industrial' in our corpname and think they have some easy kills :P
And no, I'm not one of those that mail people inviting them to come fight there, it's just an observation. No single WT ever got me in my blockaderunner :P

if u mean by "real fight" an empire griefer corp bringing a 5 to 10 man gang and fighting a huge 25+ gate camp.. then no.. thats not much of a real fight.. but if ur talking of course of equal numbers and somewhat similar ships then yes.. i would be wiling to bet my corp over your gang any day...but i kno that ive been to many 0.0 home stations in my small griefer corp and got many good fights and brought my ship home just about every time.. so if the question is 0.0 where the "elite" pvpers reside? i would have to say from my expierence.. its where the ppl who cant manange small gang warfare go to get bossed around by 1 or 2 "elite" pvpers and get gangs so big that there is no chance for a small gang to do anything but die against...

I believe low-sec combat (particularly around the pirate hubs) takes more skill than 0.0 combat or Empire wars.
Things are very clear-cut in 0.0: alts are very easy to spot, dictors and bubbles are king, large opposing groups do not generally congregate in a single system (without pounding each other to dust), the reduced docking facilities, no limits to where you can engage, etc. True, you're dealing with Dictors 'N' Bubbles and large-scale response teams... but the only rule is that there are no rules... and that sort of keeps things easy.
Empire wars are a game of alts. You simply assume every move you make is known... since it usually is. Everyone can dock everywhere. The game here is to keep your strength unknown until it's too late for your enemy to get away. But it's still simple: you can shoot your wartargets, and no one else (unless they flag themselves).
The pirate low-sec hubs are a bit less clear. Who's working with who? Who's online and active, waiting for their buddy to lure in a good fight? Who's AFK for hours on end? Is that a noob trying out low-sec for the first time, or an alt of a local pirate gang waiting to warp in? Are you being chased? Who's dropping probes? It's mass confusion. Then add in the timers. And tanking sentry fire. And all that other stuff.
I've said in the past: Amamake is rather like the Syndicate region distilled down into a single system. And that makes it more challenging IMO.*
*Just my two isk on the matter. Though I've sampled each area of combat, I'd hardly call myself an expert in any of them. Grain of salt.

It's not about quality of pvp. At its core, pvp is the same everywhere: minimize risk, win, gloat.

ok I will bite.
True pvpers huh? You mean the brainless idiots that follow whatever someone else tell them to do. The same ones that use the same setups day in and day out? The same ones that dont have to think outside the box for anything?
IMO the true pvpers are the ones that have to engage brain to successfully catch anything in lowsec.
I have been in 0.0 I have help crave out regions in the name of my alliance. I have watched alliance fail and succed. 0.0 is nothing more than a land of naps and log in ques now. If you think that is true pvp you have some hard lessons ahead of you.

You're not supposed to make sense of it!
The proper response to someone telling you to come to 0.0 is to say nothing, run a search agent a few weeks later on the guy, and go gank him again in 0.0. Then he can tell you you're a noob for being -10 and to come to highsec and fight him on his turf ------------

IMO the only difference in the 0.0 pvp and low sec/empire is 0.0 is the land of the nano ***s atm low sec usally brings out bigger slower ships with heavy tanks. I dont think there is much skill difference involved just tactics.
To the OP id say most times those mails are just trying to get you to come to 0.0 so the bitter victim can get his revenge by blobbing you.

Half of the people that give you this retort just simply think that 0.0 is where the PvP should happen and that Empire is for PvErs.
Then the other half are noobs who don't know how to fight without a 20 man gang and an FC behind them.
Just laugh it off. _______________
