I have an Iteron III with all 3 low slots T1 cargo expansions. I was going to upgrade to T2, since my skills allow for it. I have just over 9,000m3 with the T1's...how much more can i expect going from T1 to T2?

Depends on what exact expanders you use and in the case of different types, what combination.
But the easy solution is doing a simple piece of math. Strip off your expanders, note the cargocapacity. Then take that number and add 27.5%. That's with one T2 expander. Now add 27.5% to that number and another 27.5% to the new number. This will be your max capacity after that...
Cargo expanders are not affected by stacking penalties, so it's a simple matter of taking cargocapacity of whatever ship you are flying in and then add the % of the expanders, one by one.

The Ity5 is best biggest T1 hauler in game. With 5 Cargo II's and and 8 giant containers you get 30,000 volume. Pretty hard to beat that.

With three rigs you can get the base cargo hold over 41,000. (2) Cargo Hold Optimizers II, and (1) Cargo Hold Optimizer I... Mind you thats half a billion isk worth of stuff... but it could be done...
But if your to that point, spend the cash on a Frieghter, unless your using that hauling behemoth for specific mining operations and are funded by your corp.
The Intakis have an obligatin to defend the Federation, but not to assult others on its behalf. |

Far cheaper with minimal impact on your cargo space is to go with 3 Cargohold Optimization I rigs and low slots filled with Expanded Cargohold IIs. This puts your cargohold over 38k m3 with the potential to boost that past 49000m3 using 12 GSCs.
And you'll save several hundreds of millions of isk in the process...

all these stats you guys are giving me about the rigs and such are for Iteron III right? thats is as far as i have trained

no, they are talkign about the iteron V. spend ur time and money getting one of those first being their main point.

The Iteron series is unique, as far as I know, in that there are 5 in the series, each of which requires 1 level higher in the skill. Going with Expanded Cargohold IIs in the lows on your Itty III is fine at the current time, but in the long run you are going to want to train Gallente Industrial up higher. I wouldn't spend the money on any rigs until you're at the Mk V; rigs aren't reusable. Once you unplug a rig, it's destroyed. The expanded cargohold modules can be removed from your Iteron III and dropped right into an Iteron IV or V once you have the skill to fly it.

I fly an itty III,3x extended cargohold II ,no rigs
currently it holds 11619.9m3
