Just a question for those operating out in 0.0 space.
Since most systems out in 0.0 don't have either a station or an outpost, so how are miners in 0.0 re-processing ore? Are you setting up multiple refining arrays at POS'es and doing it on-site, or are you compressing it all via the Rorqual and shipping it out for re-processing at the closest location?

Smart thing to do is option #2...A Roq compressing (or even a JF) to transport it back to empire or a NPC 0.0 station.
Just be sure you have a 'disposable' pos (unarmed small and full of stront) for a jump in point (for carriers and other cap ships...who wants to fly a hulk out to null sec) and/or a place to offload.
Personally, I make a SS to do this and have your Roq cloaked.
Another very simple rule to follow is don't log off at the pos....log off at your ss...If the pos is seiged and you log back in....your screwed |

For ice in a POS if @ all possible.
For Ore.
Transport to POS (in most cases but this is optional)
Compress with Rorqual
or
IF you have a POS you can Freighter it to a station for refining
Worst case is POS refining which is extremely time consuming and not effecient.
So it is the last thing you do and only if you have too.
Actually personnal gripe is too many alliances think that miners want a station in the system they are mining.
Actually that is the LAST thing they want for an op.
Now single miners might consider a station but then they also have to deal with all the traffic that normal goes along with it.

- set up a POS with more then 1 corp hangar arrays for storing the ore.
- organise logistics from and to empire, with rorq's and / or carrier's
- sell ore in empire

Mine to POS, compress, haul to outpost, refine. We build a lot of stuff, so we mine for our own use...

Join an alliance which that will let you in. the side of good or bad, and if you join the forces of eveil, well then may YOU and the forces of evil get confused on the way to my alliance.
But joining a 0.0 alliance is your best bet. And remember to share what you mine with your corp or alliance. No one likes a carebear who is greedy.
