Yeah, it's still Fallout, and that's its only redeeming feature.
But it's the WORST Fallout of them all, which only makes me want to play one of the previous ones again instead.

I've never played fallout before so I didn't know what to expect. The graphics were good but the story kinda sucked and not being able to climb or even jump over the rubble made it dumbed down a bit.

I've played both of the Stalker series and found them to be similar. It takes place in an area of high radiation after a nuclear event with side missions and such but I preferred the anomolies in Stalker to the high radiation areas in Fallout, it made the game more interesting.

Fallout could have done without the 60's style music and background. A more modern theme would have been reasonable since we didn't have a nuclear war in the 60's even though we came close a few times.

I thought the gatling laser was an awesome weapon, it's a pity the cells don't last long though and for a laser weapon, it was very inaccurate. For the record, lasers don't spray inaccurately like bullets do.

Finding out the mutants and mutated animals etc weren't a result of the radiation but were experiments gone wrong was a bit of a let down.
