Read the forums for all the odd effects people are seeing, from no cap use with MWD on to 1 shot per 10 minutes ... The reason why Titans are getting killed now is that people with balls are using them in non-cynojammed sytems and not 30 seconds before DT like the uber-*** Intensity Green (= Fred0 or so).

Someone did the numbers, and 80 sieged dreads shooting at you, it will not make any difference whatsover what modules you've got fitted. The difference between 10k DPS tanked and 20k DPS tanked against 160K DPS incoming is neglible. In that regard, he's probably glad he didn't have another 10b worth of faction loot on that one.

They weren't, they will be replaced fast and easy enough anyway, but that doesn't matter either. It was a couple of cool fights. There were no reimbursements at all during that fight since the node stayed somewhat stable.

There was one individual titan atleast, although it would not have happened if the owner hadn't been able to use his alliance space, he farmed everything for it and manufactured it himself. It was never really used though since he was a carebear, and then his alliance stole it from him since he was quitting. :(

Shrike is awesome!!! The second loss wasn't in battle though. Beyond defensive smartbombs, a titan's only real weapon is it's doomsday, which it can't fire in lowsec. He was just being a soccermom, dropping the kids off in Eve's equivalent of a minivan.
