I think that with the advances of combat technology, Interdiction Spheres and the overall selection of ships with the varied abilities, warp disruption bubbles are unneeded and far too unbalanced. The ability to drop a bubble in any 0.0 space, regardless of sovereignty and proximity to a gate leaves a fight far too one sided. A decent gate camp and a few well fitted ships is more than reasonable to stop even the most determined ships. however, a WDB leaves this endeavor far too weighted to the camper. Far too often am I stopped in a fully fitted blockade running ship only to be hammered within a WDB dropped next to the gate. I am speaking from both sides of the fence, I use them too.
I think that they need to be removed, or at least restrictions plced on there usage, such as minimum soverignty or a gate proximity limitation.

Please don't post again.
1. Bubbles are needed. Even WITH a bubble, covert ops/recons have high rates of escaping camps. Unless you do the 50 bubble thing but not everyone can do that.
2. They affect everyone equally.
3. God forbid the people who have spend 10 minutes setting up a camp get a bonus for being on the defensive side.

Your post was pretty constructive.
1. Last I checked not everyone flew recons and covert ops ships exclusively.
2. So does lag, do we accept that as a good feature?
3. This part was witty and I enjoyed reading it.
