Devs going a little overboard with webber nerf/frigate boost?

I could happily agree to a lighter faster frigate as per modification of base stats. I could also agree to a slight drop in avg web ammount. But range? and all three changes at the same time?? Frankly I wonder what kind of game this would be if the devs relinquished the control of ship stats to the eve players on the this forum board, but seeing as the devs are shoe for hat wearing weirdos that've already done just this. With the only difference between the devs and the players is the devs are the ones everyones going to point to when the majority of the player base are going to have a stroke. I always figured frigates should be a little tougher, and speed fits without pirate implants a little slower, but to nerf pvp for all of eve in the process seems ridiculously reckless. Imo I cant see the point of having a kronos or a bhaalgorn or a hugin or even using a weber anymore. people are gleeful for the afterburner having a use, but congrats on a mearly more faceted rock papers sissors when undocking. while you decide if you should just ab/mwd combo instead of even fitting a webber at all. hey, just kidding bout the shoe for hat wearing weirdos joke dev's, don't beat me.. I really dont see myself wanting to play eve anymore when these webber changes reach TQ e I'll just chill in my state war academy thanatos and mine veld like chribba while drinking alot of beer and possibly crying into it as i continue to play a game that has a dimmer future than it did a few months ago.

The game would be complete garbage. Players think their ideas are far to important as it is. I may disagree with certian things CCP does, but they do a hell of a lot better job than some sort of player-forum-democracy would. Ship stats dictated by a whining mass of trolls? No thanks. The amount of listening the devs do right now is more than they should. Eve would benefit greatly if these forums fell off the face of the internetz. They are a morass of filth that most longtime eve player avoid completly. Only masochists (myself included), or people with a sick sense of ironic humor bother to read them.

With -90% webs on a huginn and a lachesies noting small stand a chance at all. -86% (2 webs) and a lachesies is harch too, but maybe survivable if your falcon buddy gets his jam cykle in or if your close to the edge of the range. My own very personal view is that: if they go through with the scram change they need to go through with the web change as well. 2 isk, ka-ching.

And when it comes to "kill before they burn back to gate" - who cares? You cant kill them now, you wont kill them after patch - no change here (actually due to them being slower it will be easier to kill em after patch but those are details).
