Hello,
Would someone kindly tell me how to move a ship maintenance array?
Can you carry the 8000m(3) package to a spot and assemble it in space?
Must you assemble it somewhere else then hire a huge ship to transport it?

You can move it while packaged and it will unwrap itself when you launch it.

8000m3 isn't large, all industrial ships can carry that amount very easily.

my bestower carrys around 15.000 m3. can nearly carry 2 of those in a simple industrial ship with no rigs.
8000 is not alot of space.

My next questions have to do with what happens after anchoring the array.
Can it be stolen by others who come across it?
Does is disappear when one logs off, or does it stay around?
Can others help themselves to your stuff if you log off and it sticks around?
And if I'm asking questions that are already located in a faq or guide (my apologies), what might you suggest I read on this.

You do realise it has to be anchored at a POS right?

1. seeing as this item has to be anchored at a POS (Player Owned Station) the POS shield protects against thiefing passerbys
2. anchored items dont disapear. (exept secure cans. they disapear after not being used for a month).
3. same as 1. the POS shield disallows anyone from getting near the structures located there. only you and your corp (and your alliance if you want) can get into the shield to acces the arrays (and they cant unanchore them without certain roles either)
for POS questions and answers i suggest you brows the board. should be a nice topic in the stickys about POSes.
