The Price of Freedom
Every year the beacon is lit, the beacon that calls forth the warriors of matar to gather and pay homage on sacred ground to the spirits of our ancestors, the warriors who came before us and gave their lives to protect our freedom. To learn from their wisdom and to give council to the future and to fulfil our duty as the chosen elite to defend our people. Such has not happened in an age and with each year those that come grow fewer.
How many Matari become chosen each year, how many stand and take their oaths upon graduation to defend the people, and how many are here today devoting their lives to free our people. Barely a handful stand and be counted to this day. When a call goes out across galnet of invaders and slavers in our space, only a few hear that call. Some voice support, many remain silent, choosing to ignore the suffering and torture of our people and devote everything to fattening their own wallets as part of the megacyte-whoring alliances.
The government of the republic seeks to marginalise those that choose to fight for the freedom of our people as extremists, they call us renegades and even pirates. They claim to have the people's best interests at heart yet they allow the free trade in our own people within our borders, they allow freely known slaver gangs to operate in our space. They allow spies to consistantly watch our operations. They allow millions of our people to be enslaved and eventually killed after a lifetime of slave labour, torture and eventual murder at the hands of their evil masters despite what propanganda would be spewed forth on how well they are treated. Midular and her government have turned the Matari into a nation of wh.ores, willing to sell any part of our identity for gold to line their ivory towers. They would cast aside the ancient bonds of kinship to adopt more modern foreign methods of living. They would sell their spirits if they could.
Midular's reign of terror on our people and her inability to lead the people down the right path will come to an end, and we shall gain our freedom by whatever means.
Since Midular uses democracy as a weapon, so shall we, I ask the people to call upon the Republic's Government to hold a vote of confidence in Midular and her cabinet. If this fails, then elections must be held to replace them to which end I will support Grarnelbrurgar Istrylere, CEO of The Republic Justice Department, and a long time supporter of our fight for the freedom of our people. I ask the people to rally and petition government offices until they hear the voices of the people demanding justice be done and actions taken.
To those Matari that choose to read this message, do not remain in silence with the masses, Government news agencies would have you believe we are evil and wrong, they would have us shown as criminals. You all know for which we fight, for which the valient crews whom entrust us and fight for us and for which we die, such is the price of freedom. The truth can be seen all around, that our people remain in chains.
Open your ears and remain silent no longer, hear our call and stand and be counted as the Warriors of Matar, as the defenders of freedom. Protest at your so called government offices, renew ancient bonds and hear the call, see the beacon and remember who you are. The fire that burns in our hearts shall be renewed and we shall free our brothers & sisters, familes and friends from those what would seek only to enslave us.
I call those who would stand and be counted as a defenders of freedom, to Matar in fifteen days time where she shall light the beacon and the fire within to the encroaching darkness.
The rebellion never ended despite what Midular and Concord would have you believe.

I will be there. Even though our voices have been ignored, and we were forced to go our own way and form the PRM, I still have some hope left in me, and will assist in any way I can to turn your republic around.
I cannot understand how the Republic population sits by and allows these monstrous policies to continue. Is there something I am missing? Some plot that is visible to millions but not to me? Yes, maybe I need a new perception implant. But I fear it would not last long in the body of a freedom fighter, or terrorist, as Midular would label myself and my collegues.

As will I. Something indeed needs to be done. This isse has been swept under the carpet once more by the polititions and the media has found new flavours of the month. My clan's cries and petitions for an investigation into the claims of corruption some time ago over the Khumaak affair and Midulars aleged "bending" of the rules and procedures leading to a deception of the people went un heard and unanswered. More voices needs to be brought to the attention of the republic.

Well my friend, I know not your friend or what connection it has to me. However it seems you now very little about why we choose to fight.
Do you believe you should defend your people?
Do you believe you should die for them?
Do you sit idly by while the people who place their faith in us to protect them are hunted, captured, enslaved and tortured under the eyes of our own government?
Perhaps you care nothing other of others and only look to your 'inner self'
Our people face threats from within and without. Those threats will be dealt with.

You talk of freeing slaves, kill some little slave trader ships here and there blah blah blah. Yet your people can't fly safe in any hour. I would rather be a slave to people who didn't kill me, than go back to a empire of terroist and pirates who can't govern a empire correctly do to there own ignorance. Your heart is in the right direction, just you are taking the wrong first steps to really helping a empire out. You either need to see this or step down slave. Otherwise more and more of your people will die to terror before you can free the slaves.
