What ever happened to that guy I remember reading about a while back who said he was going to make a billion ISK in a month doing only market trading using nothing more than the 5,000 ISK you start out with?

He gave up but not before crossing over 100M if memory serves. Ricdic has a very prominent role in EBANK among other responsibilities, I'm surprised he had the time for it in the first place.
On a related note, I have quite the collectible related to this attempt. Ricdic got a bit too ambitious and ventured into my corner of low sec. I'm willing to part with the corpse for 10M if anyone's interested.

So I guess he was able to keep a market watch on verious regions to buy low and sell high. Pretty cool.

Hmmmm, one thing that would be entertaining is some sort of competition. To see who can earn the most isk in a month from a new character. I'm curious how the various strategies compare.

I did it when i started a trader. Had 800MIL after 30 days. It's really not that hard if you know what your doing.

i had my 1st bill after 6 weeks of playing eve. most of it was because i recived an information that some people were manipulating the mineral market which then made me a billionair over night.
