Wonderful.
Hmm.
Well anyway, I can't say I watched it all the way through... Probably the first 20 seconds. Skipped a bit. Saw the dash, saw how fast you were going, saw you were in traffic. Pretty much, all it needed to be.
Imo you wasted an evening editing 5 minutes of unrequired footage. At least if you were going to spend all night editing footage, you coulda fixed the camera onto something rather than it being shaky-hand-cinema for 6 minutes.
Oh, and anyone in the UK is probably going to go crazy with the "BMW Driver = Insta-c·nt" stereotype.

If you're interested in going fast, try a trackday or three. I guarantee you'll appreciate it to such a degree that sillyness like in your vid won't register very high on the fun-o-meter any more. Give a bit of perspective, so to speak.
On the other hand, if you're only interested in posing and image, well, nothing can help you then.

This is not a good video. If you wanna race on a track, go ahead. Knowingly and willingly using excessive speed in on a public road is not cool, is not funny - it's ****ing stupid. If this is in fact what you have done here, then you sir, are a pen1s. If that's not quite what I'm looking at here, then please excuse what I've just said.
Edit: Just realised, CCP hold your real details, the video shows you breaking the law - any law enforcement agency that fancied to nick you for your dangerous driving can just get a hold of CCP and come pay you a visit. (Unless that kind of stuff is covered by data protection act? If you have that in the states?)
Edit2: Weaving in and out of traffic at high speed? WOW, you sir really are a ****.
Edit3: You obviously know that you're doing wrong, as you wouldn't be so jumpy about 'cops' nor would you mosaic your face. You deserve any punishment you get.

In answer to your question, I think maybe the delivery driver has a spotlight thingy so he can light up address signs and house numbers to check if he's at the right place. Cos leaving your car and knocking on doors can be risky. People get shot at for that.

Yes... that's it: everyone else is wrong, not you
Or maybe it's that everyone else can see that, while you may be able to control a car through traffic at excessive speeds, not everyone else can drive safely with maniacs driving around them at excessive speeds, and all it takes is one nervous person to make a silly, or just unexpected move, and congratulations: you just became a murderer. _____ Originally by: Shirley Serious Can't you post with an alt?

Possibly its cos people in here are a little more grown up, driving like a **** will only get abuse from anyone with an IQ above room temperature.
I have no problem with driving quick on public roads,as far as im concerned speed limits are a load of outdated dog****. But only when Its quiet, and the conditions allow it.
What I DO have a problem with is endangering other people, risk your own life, perhaps even the lives of passengers if they choose to take that chance, but dont go ****ing with other peoples lives. not big. not clever.

What because we don't think you're cool for risking everyones lives on that road? What do you think would have happened if you had blown out a tyre while changing lane at 140. I mean, you know, could never have happened because the public roads are kept totally free of detritus from other road users right?
It's the other road users who would suffer, the highway police and fire crew who would have had to cut you or your corpse out of the wreck.
There was a crash in the UK recently which wiped out an entire family. I take it you don't have kids or you wouldn't be driving like a total prat and thinking it's cool. Your video is in poor taste and makes me wish I wasn't a BMW driver as the rest of us with fast 'bimmers' get tarred with your brush.

Lol. Funny guy you are. I would heckle you, I was once young and foolish too, but I didn't stop at a little casual sunday speeding. However, I'm not about to post any vids on the net, so since I'm not going to back it up, I'll limit my internet tough guy speech to this short post.
Besides, I'm well past my street racer days. Once I got on the track, I saw how limited and slow street stuff was, and never looked back. Haven't really done any speeding (>15%) since I did my first supersport race, which was, oh, five or six years ago now.
Strange that your experience is different. Well, I guess not, if you're like most street enthusiasts: all show, all bravado, but not much go when you get down to it.
I know what you mean man... Road racing feel rather slow when compared to a track, but there is a certain fun to it (if you like like risk) because there are so many more variables... Road condition, road debris, other drivers, speed traps, etc. I guess it is just another kind of game. Honestly this is my 3rd BMW and my close friends and I i have been racing on highways since i was 17 (im 29 now). Ive seen other cars destroyed (not friends)3 times.
When i erm, "drive aggressively" on the road i always try to account for random chance with other drivers on the road. This is not true for many kiddies that are out there "road raging" and have no idea whatthaF they are doing, and are basically just risking not only themes everyone else by their lack of skill:Showing off ratio.
EVE was the wrong place for me to link this vid, not only because of the trolls, but because this is a space geek game (i'm one too), not a place for car racing-adrenaline-junkie-risk-takers.
I had lots of fun editing the vid last night, and that what counts. I'ii just keep it between my freinds and I. (plus it was a good excudes to "work from home" today since i am so tired) - LOL

Thanks m8, the car is a hoot. Since that vid was made we put in a Metric Mechanics 3.73 LSD dif, and got a dinan s trim supercharger that we've yet to put on (winter project). So we hope to make some new vid's in the spring, of us smoking through 3rd
Also before some ninnys start *****ing about my vid, it was taken in east bumble**** missouri, on a quiet road in farm country. In the 3 hours we were out filming we didnt see 1 other car. No cows were injured in the making of the video |

LOL that supercharger will make that car a beast! What kind of HP are you expecting?
Ya when i made my vid i tried to find the best dead area i could. I live in Manhattan so i had to drive for over 40 mins to get there. Half of these pimple face trolls probably drive a skateboard. |

We plan to run a water/alcohol injection system with the supercharger so were epxecting some where in the neighborhood of 500 or so at the wheels, once all is said and done. The motor as is puts down 340ish hp and 285 ft-lbs of torque.
Big ups to the TRI State, i live over in jersey my self. If your looking for a place to run flat out, rt 287 is always a safe bet, 6 wide in spots and day time traffic does 90ish lol.
Or if your looking for a nice drive, head up the ticonic and then you shoot over to Lime Rock But i figure you know this Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 bytes. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] ~Saint |

Clever boy.
From the responses in this thread I don't even need to see the video to be honest, I'm sure your family and friends will be proud if you happen to cause an accident and kill someone, potentially even yourself as well. Hell, you might even make the news.
I was in a bad accident last year because of the idiocy of someone else, a year this month in fact. I'm still recovering. Being thrown around in a steel cage then pinned there with things broken and bits pointing the way they shouldn't is no fun, take it from me.
I'm an avid fan of track days, a complete petrolhead, and somewhat of a BMW fan if I'm honest but there's a time and a place to drive like that, and at those speeds.
That time is not on a public road, or in traffic. Trust me.

Don't like it or condone, but can't throw any stones really, not innocent myself due to my actions when young and daft.
Just wanted to add that several people in my country have been convicted on the basis of their vid posted on the net.
One biker was sentenced on quite shoddy grounds too. I'm a little fuzzy on the details but I remember well they didn't actually have anything real on him. Just matching bike make/model/color as well as gear, as well as being a buddy of the guy who actually posted the vid on the net. Iitc that buddy did not give up his friend. But since it had been in the news and gathered quite a bit of interest especially from young potential road hooligans, they had to get a conviction I guess. |

Funny, just the other month at work (hospital) there was a guy just like you. He had a bit of a crash.
Nasty injuries, fractured tib fib, a particularly nasty wrist fracture, popped ribs a Pneumothorax and lots of cuts and bruises.
The guy he collided with at over 100mph was also in a bad way as well, dead he was.
He had 3 kids according to his wife.

Edited by: Tzar''rim on 04/11/2008 23:20:09 I love this game, a large number of mature, non-idiotic replies to an immature, irresponsible and stupid OP/action. Would this have been a group of 13 yearolds or idiots I'm sure the replies would have been different.
Funnily enough some of the posters are depicted as nasty griefing 13 yearolds by their 'customers'. The the cool bit is that these customers keep telling everyone that because of their ingame actions those 'nasty pirates' also have to be sociopaths/sickos IRL. So much for that theory.

Funny, a while back a pretty cool poster on SHC disappeared. Turns out he stoved a telephone pole at 80 miles/hour doing a wheelie on his bike. Fortunately, he only killed himself, but he left behind a grieving family and saddened some forum guys he'd entertained for a year.
When you grow up a bit, you'll realize that street racing is only fun when nothing goes wrong. When it does go wrong (as it will if you do it long enough), you end up in a wheelchair or you kill a family going to a picnic.
Stick to the track. At least everyone has chosen to be there and the danger is minimized.
