On the other hand some people have probably been able to evade you since you have no ab or mwd Also, you seem to have a lot of money to have set up a tech 1 frig like this repeatedly and lost it a few times. But hey, if you can afford it and it provides some fun for you more power to you.

Plus its much cheaper May aswell get an AF for that price. That being a few ships that sport a pretty good defensive bonus but combine it with the 10% per level cap use reduction with lasers - offensive bonus. If you have never flown Amarr, then I am pleased to inform you that you will stink like unwashed ass until you have shipclass level 4 at least, because you will wonder where your cap went if you try to mwd or rep. Once you train level 5 (and controlled bursts 5) you will delude yourself into thinking laser cap use is not so bad. So you see, if you already have an unbonused weapon system why not go for ac or blasters if the ship is gonna have to go close range anyway. Minmatar suffers from a similar affliction, it is called the 5% rof per level bonus. It is always fun to fit artys and practice your time estimation skills as you wait repeatedly for the guns to rouse themselves enough to fire another salvo then fall back into a narcoleptic torpor.
Joss Sparq Caldari ANZAC ALLIANCE Southern Cross Alliance	Posted - 2008.11.05 01:33:00 - [15] Ages ago, back when I first started to PvP out in 0.0 I had my ass handed to me (along with the basic insurance from my Thrasher) by a Tech II Autocannon fitted Punisher and practically before I knew it was even happening. An associate of mine used to do much the same as above with a Vengeance - Tech II Blasters (prior to that, even Tech II AC I believe) tied to a solid armor tank. It was a wicked little boat that gave quite a few people a nasty shock, much like the Punisher did to me that day. Since then, I've had a lot of respect for that frigate hull. Fit it outside of "convention" (in this case, ignoring the idea Amarr = Lasers) and it is interesting to see what can be achieved.

I can see why you would think that. The Punisher gets a bonus to armor wich is utilized and then a bonus to Laser Capacitor use. In other words: no damage bonii. And surprise! Blasters use less cap AND do more damage. And more surprise! Projectiles use no cap at all! \o/ Oh and i can see that you know what you're talking about. ---------- /Pretty posting.
