every time I go on a mission and have the option to "warp to __ km." unless I stay 70 of 100 km's away it warps me to 0 km's. if I choose 10, 20,30,40,or 50kms it always the same. is this a bug or what

It's how deadspace works: you always arrive at the target beacon, no matter where you want to arrive.
That said, not all missions take place in deadspace, and for those that don't, you can spawn the mission site by selecting "warp to" and then immediately cancel the warp. Once the non-deadspace site is up and running, you can then warp to it a second time, and at that point you can choose how far away from the location you want to arrive.

this
BUT this will not work with New Frontiers 4 or 5 (the one with the crazy neut towers). you will always land ontop of the beacon. *twitch!* |

Both those
I have tried in some missions to stop warp or to warp back in at a different distance to no avail. Other times it works like a charm.
As to your question. I think there is a BUG in there somewhere!!!!! |

I think we all have this issue. It works though if you warp to X, then stop warp before you go into it, then warpto the distance you want and it should take you to that distance.
