I have quoted the well written statement above because I believe that it best sumarizes the reasons that I have seen the NCA (not the fun loving EVOL/MOO) claim as their main platfom for war against the PA. If this is incorrect please,please stop reading here and skip to another thread. If not, I would like to clarify this situation so that we can all let it die the insignificant death it deserves.


First some facts:

-Robeyone, KIAInkz and myself told reps from the CoD, FU, JF and RKK that we would pull our corps out of the PA if CDI did not "fall in line" with the PAs wishes and remained in the PA.

-A vote to remove CDI from the Phoenix Alliance was initiated by myself.

-CDI posts a heartfelt appology to its external accusers and that appology is accepted.

-I revoked my vote for CDIs removal within the PA council in exchange for CDIs agreement to sanctions.

-War begins with an attack from the Reikoku corporation in the EC-P8R system 1 week and 6 days after sanctions are placed.


Misconception:

There seems to be a widely held misconception that an "oath signed in blood" promising that certain corps would leave the PA if CDI broke their conditions of sanction. This is not the case. The TS meeting in question happened exactly 5 days BEFORE the sanctions were concieved and insituted. Applying that "word given" to conditions of sanction that hadnt even been concieved yet is completely ridiculous.

Before I make my next and last point, I would like to paint-in the background. As my position in the PA made me a very public figure, everytime a PA member walked across someones friggin grass, I would get 3-6 tattle-tails convoing me, evemailing and posting to our forums to me with exact details of said "vegitative transgretions".

I was still very active in game until the Friday that this conflict started with the first shots from RKK in the EC-P8R system. AT NO TIME was I ever contacted and informed that CDI had allegedly broke the consditions of their sanctions. Not once. None. Nil. Nada.

The vote to remove CDI from the PA was poised to be re-instated the very moment that proof of a sanction violation had occured.

That proof never came. Not even a "hey Hal, I saw CDI in tribute". All that came were the shots in EC-P8R that started this conflict and the only thing those guns destroyed was the waiting vote to remove CDI from the Phoenix Alliance.

And that is the truth. I will not be commenting any further on this.

This is where all this comes down to.
