I love this game and the in game community but there is a horrid ugliness within the forums which in all honesty is no better than world of warcraft players, someone posts something thats not to there taste and they insist on belittling it as if they are gods gift, sadly your not. im bored of seeing threads trashed by memes and bull** basically all other such things. There is no real need at all I can fully understand heated discussion and arguements but seriously a troll is no better than a child on WoW, this is EVE, lets try not to bring down the image by pretending were all super 1337, if you want to troll this fine but then I suspect you have 3 level 70 elves or some such other mystical WoW crap. oh and another point sorry. posting things like "oh a thread whining about whiners" is just so pathetic. I plead for some of you to grow up within this community. all the rest have a great time. Dephar

Being accepted as part of a social group makes people feel safe. It does seem quite sad when people want to be validated by a community of people on the internet, who they will likely never meet. And yeah, there is a lot of trolling in MMO games. Mostly because the CMs allow it to happen. Some forums are better than others though. WHA forum CMs will swing the bannhammer pretty hard. WoW forum CMs will issue warning after warning until you are annoyed into compliance. EvE forums are certainly better than WoWs, but still pretty bad. Unfortunately trolls are everywhere on the internet. The only way to combat them is to rule over the forums with an iron CM fist.
