A couple hours before F4ze lost his Erebus, we [TRI] had been pewpewing some KIA towers in Q3 when we got word that PL had been forming up, so we left what we were doing there and took a break. About an hour later, TVN local started filling up with PL in RRbs, logistics, and tacklers. They soon warped in and started attacking the Cyno Jammer. About this time I logged back in. We figured that they were just looking for some capital kills or a fight, so we formed up. I told people to stay out of the way and see what they were going to do after the jammer went down. As they were merely in BS, we logged in titans to see if we could get some easy BS kills. As we were doing this, the jammer goes down and we put the idea off to the side to avoid a titan loss--until we could get a new jammer onlined. PL warped off to a safe as we begin to form up in nano ships. SIGH Given PL's nature for killing off the capital inside towers I made sure to double check the titan in TVN was safe and that the tower password has been reset. I confirmed it by saying this: "Has the tower that our vulnerable titan since 1/2 of PL are former TRI and most of the time we use year old passwords been changed?" "yes" As we found out a bit later, this seemed to have not been the case. I also did not realize that the titan was sitting at a jump bridge tower which, as I said before, most of PL would know the password to and hasn't been changed for ages. Either way, it was my fault and I will be sorting it out properly in the near future. [So next 2 or 3 years or so, eh?] Anyways, as I had been expecting the titan to be at a random, Non-JB d00m tower, I made sure to try to cover our rears and because I'm a paranoid schizo, I said: "If hostiles show up inside the POS shields, grab a cyno gen and get out as soon as you can" Obviously, since we lost the titan, this didn't happen... Continuing on, PL came in with a bumper crew and proceeded to bump the titan out of the shields into their ever so awesome bubble ships and when we sat there thinking, "Should he log out?", he ended up panicking and logging out anyways, but we'll try to convince all of EVE that he crashed because we don't wanna look like newbs. Either way, that's the honest to go truth. He logged back in after a bit to try to smartbomb some DPS off of him while we scrambled carrier to try and repair him. With the little support we had, we attemped to kill the HIC and Dictors that were keeping him from jumping out. Just as his titan blew up, LK in his Panther had gotten a bump on him, causing him to fly into the shields where his wreck ended up. In short, we lost another titan and we're bitter about it. We also lost a titan to one of our members switching to PL. This night should have been PL merely killing a jammer, but due to my lack of ability to lead and/or type anything very well, we ended up with our first titan loss since reforming. It's almost laughable how naive we could be considering this just happened to Shrike. Good kill, of course, and we've learned our lesson. We will now change our POS passwords every 10-11 months now. Also, Dr. Jones Sr., father of Indiana Jones, used birds to down a german airplane in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (maybe the best of the trilogy). BTW, nice kill. Bumping is what bumping does. It was all fun and games when it happened to other ships but now people are bumping titans, the nerve! Everyone could see this coming a mile away, a little support on the end to bumping and collision damage call in Assembly Hall goes a long way.
