Im long time amarr battleships & lasers player . I logged in to eve played some and just wanted to share my experience .
For the first time ever , playing battleships was fun this time not a pain of clicking many buttons trying to minimize the delay between shots and moving the immobile ship.
i really felt like shooting this time, with the new weapon linking installed , f1 finaly was my trigger button.
i dont know the reasons but i had 2x nano II , 1x afterburner on apoc and the ship was turning fast as cruisers also accelerating very fast. This also made me feel move alive, i could actualy move around this time . Not just sit in one place and continuously fiddle with f1 to f8 , that wasnt really playing.
this energy in the new mechanics could as well rocket up the pvp , turning into something a lot more fun and results less predictible .
Just some personal comments here, hope the patch will add to the game for everyone.

Amarr went from sucking donkey harbles 6 months ago to being mega ultra win sauce according to the eve forums.
The patch will prove... interesting.

QR is seemingly nerf all races except Amarr. So all the FOTM Chasers will assume that Amarr is teh pwn then. Of course they are ignoring that Amarr was teh lol and the nerf of the rest just brought everybody to the same level.
Can't really expect independent thought or any mental horizon from a FOTM Chaser, so you'll see this idiocy being spread around the forums as teh truth.

only lol there ever was in amarr is the ridiculous ammo price when compared to other races.

I take you missed the part where people were suspended from forums for writing "lol, Amarr", which basicly was the standard reply to all the buff-Amarr-posts for 1,5-2 years?
Ok ok fine, we'll swap out "lol, Amarr" with "lol, Blasters".
