Just wondering that there haven't been any inside reports of fanfest attendees yet. Has ccp set up a news blockade or something like that?
Or are you fanfest peeps just too drunk/hang over/lazy/busy being at the fanfest, to write some lines about the roundtables, presentations etc..

For those desperate for Fanfest info, please stay tuned.
The first day of Fanfest is mainly an admin/get-to-know the venue/meeting up with corpmates and taking amusing drunken pictures day.
The next couple of days will see the annoucements you're all pining for.

if this is what fanfests look like and who they are populated by then thank f**k you posted these pictures, because the only way i'd ever go to one would be if it was in my home town and they provided free transport....and beer

There's women players there too. They just get shuttled away to the VIP area and away from all the sweaty nerd-men.
I kid, but yeah they have womens' panels and everything, so yeah the ladies do attend.

Agreed. FF isnt entirely representative of the player base - so those who were they and decried what sounds like something brilliant have now ruined the opportunity to see stuff like this in game for the rest of us.

I have always wondered why this couldn't be done. Sure I realize it would be extremely annoying to have to wait for an animation each time you dock and undock, but the fact is atm you just look at a black screen for several seconds. Why not have a real time rendered offline "movie" of your ship docking or undocking during this time instead? No extra time needed and you get your cool docking and undocking graphics :)
(sorry if I'm derailing this thread)
