I just killed my first commander, hurray for me. It was a domination Hijacker a 30k rat in 0.6 space (stfu it's still a commander :P). anyhow I was expecting some l33t frigate stuff to put on my frigate but to my disappointment it didn't leave any loot, nor did it's 2 "wingmen". Do empire space (>0.5) commanders generally decide to not dropping any loot? or might this be a bug?

no this happens with normal npcs bs's to frigs.......ive killed a 60k commander frigate in a .3 and got normal loot, killed a 3mil commander in a bs and got the special loot....its all just chance....

well, I'll get bigger commanders sooner or laters, hope I get loot from that :)

Killed a True Sansha Manhunter(?) 95k bounty frigatte commander yesterday, he dropped 2 normal loot and one special True Sansha loot 
So don't give up, I guess it's just that bigger commanders tend to have much higher chance to drop special loot

I dropped a 300k Dark Blood Arch Reaver (augoror blood raider) and both the 'wigmen' that warpe din to help (wasnt expectin git, was quite cool) and got normal loot. Was disapointed for abit, but was still a "Cool as Hell" encounter

Killed a 3.5 mil raven, dropped all named stuff, but nothing uber rare, just malkuth siege's and large named shield boosters, i was hoping for like XL C5-l and arba siege :Ì
