High Customizable?! We'll be building the ships to fit our playstyle for crying out loud.
Hope they give us some mining mods to.

doubtful.
If they increase the rate you can mine at; it means the market gets flooded with minerals. Meaning things like carriers drop significantly in price and capships become cheaper to build and cheaper to sell.

New T3 stuff will need new input materials, some at least to be found in the new "off the map" exploration areas through the wormholes.
So, not sure what they'll be mining...

They're talking now about *thousands* of combinations when building a ship from T3 components, which can be dismantled and reconfigured.

Sounds fun, wonder what the requirements will be and how it fits with the current ships (are you able to get a t3 cruiser better than a t1 cruiser in every way? Better than t2? How about price?).

(Note: educated guess, I have yet to read the material)
What this sounds like is more of a 'modular' influence on a ship's performance.
I.e. a t3 ship hull has a certain number of subsystem slots filled with modules for assembly. Certain modules occupy the same clusters, modulating the abilitiy in different fields, e.g. Speed versus tanking: 15 of the z-type slots: you can stock these with armor or propulsion modules

I think that the difficulty incurred in producing t3 may be its saving grace, that and a projected general increase in demand.
