Hi,
I was thinking about buying a computer with widescreen: 15.4 WSXGA (1680x1050)
My question is, will games automatically set themselves on 1680x1050, or if not, can newer games be manually set to 1680x1050 - if so, which games do you know about that can be manually set for costum screen resulotions?
Or, if none of the above options works, I have to buy a computer with an ordinary screen.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Games will automatically set themselves to be normal size and your widescreen monitor will become normal sized. For instace, if you are running your desktop in widescreen and launch EVE into fullscreen its going to pull the sides in and make it normal sized on your screen as it will actually change your resolution. You will have some extra black space on both sides of your monitor but it should still look astounding... also I think EVE now has a widescreen option... or they may be adding one? I dunno, youll be fine though no matter what the circumstance. So is said. |

Edited by: Geeknik on 07/07/2004 20:55:41 You can set EVE to widescreen in the options. =) I play in widescreen on my 19" CRT. I prefer it to the fullscreen setting. ----- I have taken all knowledge to by my province. - Sir Francis Bacon science & technology news
