With current game content we have PvPers, mission runners, miners, pirates, ship spinners, etc. When ambulation lands, players will need some clothes as well or.. /me imagines naked big boobed blonde's waving their attributes around... Uhm lets return to subject. So someone will need to produce those clothes. Which leads us to new profession: Fashion designer. New skills to train, new items on market, moar ISK sink.
Will it happen?

The default "naked" model will actually have standard coveralls / spacesuit / clothes on. There are several threads that discuss just how much skin we'll see and the devs have repeatedly said "fully clothed".

We are capsuleers. We end the lives of 6000 souls when our blasters shred through the last of an enemy battleship.
We are NOT baristas, shopkeepers, bartenders, tattooers or anything like that.
"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic. |

Prior to the Dark Times of the NGE for SWG I had different professions :)
I think the first most obvious one is a tailor. I enjoyed being one on Radiant server of SWG. It was kinda nice to have a little tailor shop.
The tailor was also an image designer (plastic surgeon type), which could also be appropriate to EVE as folks will want to change their looks from time to time, based on the clips we saw this might be something anyone can do to themselves. Certain special clothing using special components could give some bonuses, which might could be used in EVE too, though one would have to take care not to make pod pilots to dependent upon them.
On Wanderhome I was mostly known as a chef (though I actually had been some other thigns first). I enjoyed making food and drinks, mingling in the taverns and casinos. It was some good opportunities as with the tailor/ID for some RP. In addition in SWG food could give bonuses over a short term for different skills. This is something perhaps the devs will look to include in EVE as it would give a reason for PVPers to stop by the station and pick up some drinks/food now and then. However care should be taken to make sure any such bonuses are not unbalancing to the game as a whole.
Even without any bonuses if ambulation comes out and I'm here, I may still open a tailor's shop for a while and see how it goes. I kinda miss seeing the people and chatting more than what I've seen in EVE to date.
Thoughts expressed are mine and mine alone. They do not necessarily reflect my alliances thoughts.
